Great location, beautifully looked after grounds and the dam is wonderful. Kayaks are free to use which is a wonderful touch. Bass fishing so make sure you bring the right bait, worms! We took bikes and riding around was easy, getting back up the hill wasn’t bad as it’s close but still a good push. Friendly check in and easy to work out key card.
Overall: Pros - Great stay and lots of fun things to do on the farm, we will be back.
Cons (more like constructive criticism) - There’s a bench on the deck but recommend comfortable chairs to add, maybe just 2 so you can sit back and enjoy the view. Mobile Braai provided, l recommend they make a built braai area to protect from wind and can sit around and watch a fire burn at night, missed that. More plug points in rooms is needed especially in today’s world of electronics and devices, only 1 plug and is used by the lamp. I like sleeping in pitch black room and the LED smart ceiling light doesn’t switch off completely this I had to disconnect. I think you might need to log into a Bluetooth connection to the light maybe you can adjust it from there, there is a speaker in the light I’m assuming you can connect music...

We attended a wedding and stayed for two nights. The cottages are renovated or revamped. They can accommodate up to 65 guests and the self-catering accommodations look over amazingly beautiful rolling hills and apple orchards. My husband and I stayed with family members in a share-house with three bedrooms. Each room has beautiful linen and our room had an en-suite bathroom. This lovely 3 Bedroom, 6 sleeper, Self Catering Unit is nestled on the beautiful In On The Highlands Estate.
Being centrally located in the Elgin Valley, allows one to easily visit the surrounding estates.
The main bedroom has a en-suite and overlooks the estate. Bedrooms 2& 3 share a bathroom & toilet. The bedrooms are spacious with carpeted floors and a single wardrobe. The large kitchen is fully fitted and a rectangular table with benches to comfortably seat 6 people.
