Unacceptable Experience – Serious Improvements Needed Immediately
While the exterior of the property appeared fairly reasonable and somewhat aligned with the photos online, the experience inside was shockingly poor and deeply disappointing.
We occupied three rooms — Room 20, Room 8, and Room 10 — and all were below even the most basic standards of hospitality: • Room 20: The shower was completely blocked and water would not drain, creating an unhygienic and uncomfortable experience. No towels or toilet paper were provided at all. • Room 8: The room had visible cockroaches. Only one towel was provided for two people, and the mattress was badly sunken and uncomfortable. • Room 10: The door did not close properly, which was a serious safety concern. No towels were provided, and the mattress was also worn out and sagging.
In all three rooms, the mattresses were in very poor condition — sunken, unsupportive, and made it difficult to rest. On top of this, the overall atmosphere felt unwelcoming, as if our arrival had caught the staff by surprise. There was no sense of readiness or proper guest care.
This property is in urgent need of proper maintenance, pest control, new bedding, and basic guest amenities like towels and toilet paper. Guests deserve cleanliness, safety, and comfort — not frustration and discomfort.

Read moreI made a booking on Monday, 25th November, for a Queen Room with a balcony, scheduled to check in on 29th November. Upon my arrival, just after 9 PM, I was initially told that the guest house was fully booked. After some time, my booking was finally confirmed, and I was assigned a room.
However, the room provided was not what I had booked. Instead of the Queen Room with a balcony, I was given a much smaller room with twin beds combined together. When I returned to the reception to address the issue, I was told that the guest house was fully booked and that nothing could be done.
This situation is unacceptable for several reasons:
My booking was confirmed online five days in advance, yet I was informed that the establishment was fully booked upon arrival. I had to contact the booking manager myself, using my own phone and minutes, only to be met with unprofessionalism and insults. The room provided not only failed to meet the standards of my booking, but its door could not lock from the outside, compromising my safety and security. The suggestion that the staff would “look after my belongings” was inadequate and unprofessional.
