Bright future ahead foe this 5 star Bouteque.
Would like to show appreciation for all the staff for making our stay a pleasant one.
Yes, a few lessons to take note of for improvement but overall, I am impressed with the ability of the staff to attend to request by guest.
We had four rooms {1 on the old block, 3 on the new block which was 90% completed(graden facing and dam facing)}.
each room had its own things to be noted like lights not working, lack of hot water, electric kattle not working, leaking toilet and last minute touch ups on curtains which were all attended to as quick as they were made aware off.
most of the above was also due to the fact that they were fully booked and was trying to accommodate us by not having one room check-out after 1st night so this is highly appreciated.
restaurant is also well situated but due to it not been very busy, I think this affects their stock and probably lack of attention to some details especially with Sushi bar. Breakfast could be better if it's buffet but maybe there is a reason behind doing each plate individually and for bigger groups, this isn't good.
just a noted when using navigation to the place, search for "The views @Lira Bouteque" as this will tee ake you roṱhe correct gate instead of old or what see to be deliver gate. A recommendation for Lira boutique will be to change to pin on maps so that it's closer to the correct gate as this will prevent guest arriving already in a bad mood after been on the wrong gate or fix that gate so that cars...
Read moreI was only there to visit the restaurant and I have to say what a horrible service that was- first of all, they make you pay R350 at the front which I found to be very odd… we were shown to our table just before 17:00 where we ordered drinks and food at the same and asked they bring wings to nibble on while we wait for our food, the drinks took almost 30mins of which they got mine wrong because I had specifically asked for a virgin cocktail and I was given a glass which was filled with alcohol😑 an hour later neither the wings nor food have been served at this point I’m melting with hunger and our waiter is not even trying to explain as to what is going on, there wasn’t even a manager to remedy the situation- if I tell you we only received our food 2hrs and 30mins later you will think I am exaggerating, the meat was burned and I was served rice not even with a gravy; basically I was forced to “enjoy” dry food- I mean if you are going to delay my food with over 2hrs at least let it be worth it more especially for those ridiculous prices because why charge an arm and a leg for such underwhelming food and drinks that felt like they were fetched in a volcano? The place had no sense of urgency, the overall service was appalling and infuriating and if you ever consider visiting the restaurant just know you are not getting your money’s worth. Read moreThe xmas lunch was a scam We paid R700 for adults and R500 for kids There was no live entertainment, no manager. Food was served around 15h00. Horrible food and no order. The food served, you hardly find such at funerals nowadays. The food was not even worth R150 but we paid R700.

A very disappointing events for a boutique which claims to be a 5*
The food served, maybe for dogs yes but not for humans
Manager refusing to talk to us(dont think there was even 1)
Lira should at least refund all families 50%
Unfortunately 2023 xmas for many families is spoiled by this scam and there will never be another xmas but at least refund
The monies families spent, they could have hired a private chef and had the best dignified xmas
The stunt of giving drinks upto R100 at 18h00 with rain approaching and many families gone, was really not smart
If this xmas lunch scam doesnt stop, i wont be surprised if the boutique also loses its rating
Heartless, greedy, money n good image seems to be only what matters not service or families or guests
