Our stay was awesome. We were a family of 6 with a baby. We stayed for two nights. Jacques was a great host. A truly respectful, humble and bright person. He followed covid protocol properly. We were well-taken care of. The rooms were really clean. In general, everything felt cozy. The antique/vintage feel transported us into a different time. The atmosphere was tranquil. We had rooms with TV's which added a nice touch. The kitchen is separate and the dining room was made available for us to enjoy meals. We also did some fishing which is 700-800m away, advisable to drive there. It's like a private fishing spot. You will need to have good shoes as it is a little slopy. But once you're settled and find a nice flat-ish spot, the fishing is great. We caught 6 Fish. 5 Barbels and 1 Carp (approx3-4 kg). The braai area is also really nice, there's benches and chairs available. The lawns are great, my son had a blast playing on them.

Excellent host Beautiful tranquil environment for sleepover, lovely clean open plan with bathroom, room, with daily room service and separate kitchenette for self catering. Outdoor relax areas with benches and braaiers.
The bleating of sheep and mooing of cows and the chatter of birds when one wakes and throughout the day is refreshing.
The river is approximately 800m away and too far to carry fishing equipment and cooler box with snacks. The road to the river is grassy, and well kept.
For in between towns sleepover, excellent. For staying as fishing enthusiast, not excellent.

I posted eariler but i see it did not upload . we were a group of 11 individuals who are hickers , the place was great i was impressed with the rooms clean and neat vintage old school. I would suggest that you have a wifi and have activities that people can do in the vacinity like ur zip line , swimming pool it will def attract more people . u know having team activities to accomodate large groups. Overall the stay was AWESOME and Jacque was well comining .keep it up will recomend the place to others definately regards...
