Elandsrus Country Lodge — Hotel in Ubuntu Local Municipality

We recently had the pleasure of being hosted by Jan-Hendrik and Patrys at Elandsrus. We stayed over on the way back to Cape Town from up-country. The short drive from the main road (N1) puts one out of earshot of the busy road and you can immediately relax. I arrived after dark at Elandsrus and was greeted by an almost magical short drive through a small wooded area lighted by string lights being led by a very helpful assistant who had prepared my meal before arrival. We were pleasantly surprised at the peaceful haven on arrival, it was super hot and the green lawns and shady trees was lovely.
