We were warmly welcomed by Sue and two adorable Jack Russell terriers. The place is clean and tidy, a beautiful open plan communal dining and lounging space opens onto a garden with impeccable lawn and a blue pool. The room itself was cosy with a comfortable bed and ample storage space. We loved the spacious bathroom with its big bathtub; the seperate shower had great water pressure. This place has a wonderful atmosphere, not least due to its generous hosts. It was great chatting to Granny and Sue. They serve a full breakfast, as well as allowing their guests access to a courtesy bar in the evening. Jon, Sue and Kat are hosts like no other. Nothing is too much. Their warmth and friendliness made the stay amazing. The communication was great from the start of inquiring right through to our departure. Their knowledge of the area and keenness to help - with booking restaurants, to finding golf courses, trekking in the area and more - added to our lovely stay. Rooms were spotless and beds so comfortable. Great breakfast (and all day) room. Lovely refreshing swimming pool. Delicious breakfast. Nice location....

Beautiful, clean rooms with daily room service. Friendly and hospitable hosts. Great view of the garden and in a convenient location not too far from the highway or town.
The only downside was at 1am and 3am with large freight trains passing by in front of the property but even so, it's a lovely experience if you like trains. Otherwise peaceful and quiet.
