Eventually Lodge Sodwana — Hotel in uMhlabuyalingana Local Municipality

Eventually lodge, is really not a lodge at all, Its essentially a flat with a stoep in a back yard, and gives you access to a shared pool area on the stand. After numerous phone calls and messages upfront, we arrived at a sub-standard property, with a very false impression from their website. The fittings, bedding, decor all outdated, mattresses very poor quality (asked RE this in advance). The lounge furniture made of wood without cushions? Its also quite a distance from the beach (11km). Access to the beach very expensive (they did tell us there is a cost upfront, but couldn't confirm the amount..?). We checked in, and decided to leave a couple of hours later. Paid upfront for 5 nights. Explained we cant stay there, the friendly lady confirmed she will refund 3 nights. Its 2 months later now, still no refund received. Wont return here, and wont recommend. Much better quality lodges in the "town" area or closer to the beach in...

Staff very friendly and units very clean. Janine was very helpful in telling us the go-to places around. It was certainly very helpful to see the most places in our very short time available. Beautiful area, will definitely be...
