Lovely concept and design however there is much needed tlc.
The road/driveway is beach sand so a heads up as I have read previous posts of people moaning about using smaller vehicles.
Nicole is lovely but I do believe more staff would have been better during December to help.
Please be mindful when staying in rooms 1 and 2, the entrance faces the bush and when you are in the communal area, you cannot see and unfortunately we had the misfortune of having our money, cellphones, wallets stolen even though apparently this is the first time this has happened, lock your windows and doors!
The signal/ reception is bad except at the top by the big tree, no WiFi is available should you need it.

Read moreThumbs up to Nicole from the lodge, she is a fantastic hostess made us feel at home. We had a fantastic stay, the bungalows and lodge is clean and very well equipped. The bungalows are very spacious and modern. The boma and sparkling pool was a delightful bonus. Large and clean area for the kids to play and we had adequate privacy. The lodge was easy accessible from the main road. It is a drive to sodwana based just outside of mbazwana but by far the best place we have stayed in sodwana thus far and totally worth the daily scenic drive. We would highly recommend the lodge to anyone...
