M-Crystals — Hotel in uMhlathuze Local Municipality

A bridal shower turned sour after the manager started throwing harsh words at the bride and us her friends. The incident occurred after he called us out for letting the other friends (who weren’t booked in) go into the rooms to keep their stuff safe (of which we weren’t even aware it’s not allowed). When we tried to explain, he went on about how we were gonna break his beds and how we looked down on him because he was black (we are also black by the way). A lot didn’t make sense with his outrage. He even called us drunks when weren’t even drunk, he was the one who looked and sounded drunk with his friends. The place is beautiful and clean. The food was also good but the hospitality is very poor, especially from the owner of the place(who was very rude and even ended up giving threats along with his friends, the situation even got worse to a point that he also wanted to get physical). We had booked the place but our visitors were not even allowed to get their bags or stay a while longer after the 5pm notice we were given to finish our event. The staff is not friendly and very much not alive. The owner was worse, very rude and unwelcoming. He kicked us out of his guesthouse and said really mean things to us. “You do not respect me because I’m not white, had I been white you would have left my premises a long time ago” Just because we had friends who were waiting for their transport so that they can leave as we had a bridal shower earlier on that day..
