Mvubu River Lodge — Hotel in uPhongolo Local Municipality

Beaurifull place to stay with very friendly staff. Clean units and good food. We really enjoyed the stay and the personal hallo off the owner and also had a good time with his son and friends on Valentines day. We though that maybe a fan on the veranda of the units would be nice as the fan's in the lounge and dining area made a huge differnce in the heat. Only one thing we would have loved was to have a private dinner on our last night and not in a group with strangers - thats just our choice.. But the overall stay was wonderfull and would recommend to anyone. and if in the area will come again. We loved our outings -the Rhino walk was an amazing experience and Cosmos was a fantastic guide. I have passed many times the town of Pongola and didn't know much about the Game Reserve next by. So this time I have spent two nights in Pongola Game Reserve and I have to say this was one of my best stays in a Game Reserve and a great experience in the bush.||The accommodations are clean, comfortable, cosy and with a stunning view over the Reserve. I have stayed in two different lodges within the park and they both were great. But what I really liked about the Game Reserve was the staff, they are friendly, kind and trying to help you with everything you just wish for. Furthermore they serve delicious meals and have a great selections of activities.
