Beachwood Inn — Hotel in Western Cape

We were quite disappointed in the service after reading the reviews we expected a higher standard. As far as the special requests, we asked for a milk alternative after they contacted us asking if we have special requests - once arriving they didn’t have any milk alternatives for my partner and I that can’t stomach dairy and we reminded them and they said they would have it for the morning. In the morning (after being woken up by the loud atmosphere) I couldn’t find a single staff member - I phoned the manager Sanet personally and she said they couldn’t find any milk alternatives and can’t accommodate us and also mentioned she didn’t have time the previous day (even though she had time to smoke outside the entire duration of our visit) and then she hung up on me while I was speaking. I messaged her saying no one was helping us at reception and she blueticked me. Overall the room was nice - nice big bed and decent location. However, attention to detail was missed - shower didn’t have warm enough water and low water pressure. They gave us dirty placemats at breakfast and seated us at a table with dirty ashtray. I just want to commend Monica and Jason for the outstanding weekend we just had at their beautiful establishment!!

Everything was impeccable and oozed comfort and charm. From the dark wood finishings throughout, a gorgeous bedroom with the most comfortable bed and best nights sleep I've had in years, down to every last little attention to detail.

The beautiful beach pool is a full on oasis, especially at night when the light comes on.

We were made to feel so welcome and told to treat the place like our home. Although they were fully booked for the weekend, we barely saw any other people so we had so much privacy it felt like we had the place to ourselves, which is just the kind of peaceful mini break we were hoping for.

Lovely breakfast included which we enjoyed sitting on the patio overlooking the pool and a braai room that we certainly made good use of.

Thank you guys for the amazing service and attentiveness to all our questions and requests. We can't wait...

Good day good people I would like to this moment to give my full gratitude.Not only did we arrive a bit late for check in but that was on us lol.The location is spot on I can't get more of a satisfaction from the cleaniness of this facility yor it was mire than home away from home one could eat from the floors.Our bedroom was so amazing the bed guys we literally slept in the middle of the bed with so much space left 😀 😊 .We needed the quiet environment and we are not sorry it was money spend the worth.Thank u so kuch yes we missed breakfast bt that's all good it felt lyk we dint wanalt to leave..great service from the manager not sure if it's Karen keep up the.
