Kingfisher Hollow — Hotel in Western Cape

I am an old Trip Advisor member with 2 decades of travel accommodation experience & this one is by far the worst I've ever had the misfortune of visiting. The absolute poor service coupled to the worst and least value for money. This was an experience my family had to endure... the owners are lucky I don't sue them for such appalling service & bordering on money extortionate behavior. The facilities are one of the worst & well known in the Gordon's bay area for being rock bottom accolades. Absolutely disgusting., tgey should be ashamed of charging people fees at all. A refund would have been the least.... maybe paying for medical fees for broken glass injuries would also be on the cards. Video & pictures...

The pictures of the rooms on the website lekkeslaap is not a true reflection of the place. The rooms are not well maintained, not cleaned properly and quite the opposite of what is given in the pictures. Stains on the bedding, dirty marks on the bathroom room floor and door. The bathroom was far below standard. Basic and unhygienic. One toilet roll, dirty shower curtain. I didn't want to touch the shower curtain. Torn drying off cloth. The room had a strange smell aswell. There was open view available and not dstv. Compared to the place we were last week, LA Sal in Fish hoek, which we paid less for it is completely below standard. It deserves a 0 rating. They completely deceive prospective clients....

This place is terrible! Firstly, the reception area was unkempt and unwelcoming. The pillows did not have pillow cases and we had to ask for them to put a flat sheet on our bed. The area just outside our room/apartment was filled with dirty pillows and was generally untidy. Nothing looks like what's in the pictures. We left soon after check in and got a far better place along the beach for the same amount we paid at this place. The owner also didn't respond when we complained to her. Definitely not nearly...
