Kloofzicht Estate Country House Accommodation And Farm Deli — Hotel in Witzenberg Local Municipality

I've had my eye on Kloofzicht Country Estate for a few years now and finally booked the entire venue to celebrate my 40th birthday with close friends from 5 to 8 October 2023.

We all had the best weekend and spent most of our time at the farmhouse, which is incredibly charming and homely equipped with everything you need.

The setting of the property is idyllic - luscious green grass, a massive swimming pool, beautiful dam and views. It was rather windy on the weekend we were there so we ended up moving the party to the patio on the side of the house, which protected us completely from the heavy winds. We celebrated till the early hours of the morning with music and dancing and I could not have asked for a better place to do it.

Lynne, Miela and staff were superstars from start to finish with all requests being met without a fuss.

The property is beautiful, with big trees that create such a magical atmosphere, and the house is very well-equipped. I loved the relaxed yet special vibe of the whole place. The communication with the owner, Lynne, was excellent – she always responded quickly, was so friendly, and very helpful throughout the planning process. The staff, especially Mongezi the manager, were amazing too. They were quick to respond to anything we needed and made everything run so smoothly. All the rooms are spacious, each with its own bathroom, which made it so comfortable for our guests. The backyard is gorgeous and very large – the perfect space for a celebration.
