The word Luxury should not be included in this establishments name. Booked for 2 nights as a quiet getaway for us. But left after only 1 night. Granted it was a scorching 42 degrees when we arrived. But the tiny aircon didn't stand a chance. We had to sit outside as it was cooler than inside. Whoever thought that building a black corrugated metal/glass shed in the middle of the African bush with no shade whatsoever did not think it through. We were assured that it was only due to the heatwave that it was like this. Next day was 33 degrees and still like an oven inside. The little aircon was useless .So we had a choice, sit outside in the strong wind or sit inside and roast. To add insult to injury the ineffective aircon was switched of remotely at 6pm sharp and only switched on at 9am the following day.Nowhere comfortable to sit outside as cheap Chinese furniture had 1 inch thick cushions and was bolted to deck so could not move to avoid wind or sun. Wanted to lie somewhere comfortable to read my book and relax but only comfortable spot was the bed but with sun shining through glass roof it was like a sauna. Nowhere comfortable to sit inside. Just a couple of stools. My wife was now nauseous with the heat and the whole experience. We informed managment that we were leaving a day early and the reasons via text as the farm was locked up and no one around. Got no response from them. Oh and trivial as it seems please provide a toaster. People like toast...

Read moreIt's absolutely amazing. Breathtaking views. Peace and quiet are at the order of the day. We had a wonderful time and got the well-deserved rest we went for.
If I may be as bold as to make a few suggestions, that will certainly make this an absolute gem.
The patio furniture is impractical, throw it out, and bring in a foldable couch/day bed.. it's a romantic spot for 2, no confirence facilities required 😉
A little extra shade goes a long way on a hot day. The patio becomes super hot in a summer day, maybe some roll-up canvas sides to just give a slight relief from the relentless sun. Or even extending the patio cove right up to the side of the pod 🤷 Care should be taken when preparing for guests. Glassware should not still be wearing the previous guests lip balm.
The cut-off on the air-conditioner is a killer in summer, at 7am the pod is a boiler, maybe relook that strategy.
All of this being said.. we had an awesome time.....
