Porterhouse Eleven Guest House — Hotel in Witzenberg Local Municipality

My wife and self were offered the opportunity to attend the unveiling of an obelisk to commemorate the 50th Anniversary of the 1969 Earth Quake that caused devastation in the towns of Ceres, Tulbagh, and Wolseley on the night of 29 September 1969.||On arrival at this guesthouse, we were surprised and impressed by the hospitality of the owners. We were welcomed and escorted to our room where everything was explained and some even demonstrated. Our room was modern neat and clean. The on-suit bathroom was outstanding. The ambiance of the whole guest house contributed to the relaxing feeling that aided towards a restful night. We were requested a suitable time for breakfast the next morning. ||The next morning we were again welcomed by the friendly owners at the breakfast where a well-prepared breakfast was served. This was truly an amazing place. I really enjoyed my stay. It was so quiet and peaceful here. My room was so cozy, I felt like I was at home and not to mention the amazing serviced I received from this wonderful lady - the most amazing and down to earth person you'll find that welcomes guests with a warm smile on her face.

I definitely enjoyed my stay I wish I could of stayed a little bit longer, but I will definitely return.

We are staying during the week for months of Aug and Sept 2016. What a pleasant experience. The staff is friendly and assist where ever possible. The owners Marieta and Dudly will do anything (with a smile) to make our stay a pleasure and comfortable. The rooms are clean, neat and well furnished, and spacious. The guesthouse were full most of the evenings during the week and we can clearly see why. We will definitely recommend...
