The overall experience during my recent stay at the Resort left a lasting impression on me. The bonus of having breakfast included made our mornings stress-free. While the room size was spacious and comfortable, I noticed there were no TVs in the individual rooms, but only in the small living area. Additionally, our first room had no A/C unit or a closet. The towels provided were also more miniature and more similar to face towels. However, having a kitchen in our room made up for these minor inconveniences, allowing us to prepare meals during our two-night stay. There was no housekeeping during our short stay, but it wasn't an issue.
The hotel also offered karaoke rooms, two amusement games, and a kid's zone, which kept everyone entertained. The only downside was that no laundry room or iron board was available. Thankfully, i didn't have to iron any clothes.
They also had a superette within the hotel that stayed open all night and accepted card payments. Overall, our experience at this hotel was excellent, and I would highly recommend it to others looking for comfortable accommodations and amenities during their travels.
The water park was beyond fantastic; it was the perfect combination of indoor and outdoor activities, plus a luxurious spa for those needing some relaxation. Although some of the outdoor slides were not yet open, there was still abundant excitement. The park offered guests the convenience of purchasing towels, life vests, chairs/cabanas, and on-site food. As vegetarians, we were pleasantly surprised by the availability of vegetarian options. However, we chose to bring our food for the day. My daughter loved every minute of our visit, and we ended up spending a total of five hours at the park. Operating hours from 10:00 am to 6:00 pm gave us ample time to enjoy all that the water park offered. The customer service staff was top-notch; they were incredibly helpful in making our experience enjoyable and stress-free. While it may have been slightly pricey for some, there is a half-off discount for those visiting during their birthday month and for children under three years old. Overall, we had a fantastic time at this water park and cannot...
Read moreRooms are acceptable. The resort mainly serves families with young children. The lobby has several indoor activities for the kids (virtual sports gaming, indoor maze, not free by the way) which remain open when the water-park is closed for the season.
Our family of 4 adults reserved a room in mid-November.
Parking was a bit confusing. They had blocked access to the driveway next to the lobby front desk. We had to first park in their parking lot (free), take an elevator up a certain tower there, and walk another 100-200 meters (through a walkway connection) to reach the front desk to check in.
Carts for luggage are by the front desk. (not by the parking area). You must either walk with your luggage from the parking to the desk for a cart, or bring a cart after check in all the way back to your car. This was a bit difficult for our family, but we managed.
The room became quite hot at night, but there was no remote for the indoor fan/air conditioning to circulate the air. Apparently the hotel collects every room's air conditioning remote control during winter season. It took 2 phone calls to the front desk for them to finally bring one to us.
The hotel is very close to the Independence Hall of Korea (~5 min drive), which made the hotel desirable. But you may want to reconsider if you are a large group traveling together, due to the awkward layout and unavailable amenities we...
Read moreI went to the hotel as part of a group performing at the Cheonan International Dance festival. Fortunately I didn't have to pay which meant I could not be too fussy, however if you don't like sleeping on a thin mattress o the floor then you will be ok. The "flats" are 1 bedroom with a bed and another room with what I found out were traditional Korean floor mattresses ..... Not too comfortable. There were 3 of us sharing the room without a bed so we left one in the room and 2 in the lounge. One with the settee mattress and the other with 2 mattresses, just about bearable if you are NOT paying. Towels were small but lots of them, they only put I. 1 bar of soap which was small so we had to ask for more. The room was clean.||||The hotel staff were lovely and did everything they could to help. We had breakfast every day which was a buffet with quite a lot of variety. One odd thing the Koreans like SPAM which was at every breakfast luckily there were lots of other nice things like the seaweed soup and the obligatory...
