The Jackson9s Hotel — Hotel in Chuncheon-si

Worst nightmare hotel @ Jackson 9’s for two nights for business trip. Cleaning was ok - hair on pillows & in the bath fine. Hand marks throught the glass, window & the door - I can live with that. Toiletary (amenities) container with toothpaste marks from the previous guests adaptable. However noise pollution is huge within the building and from the main road traffics. I could hear other guests next door what they are chatting about. Nightlife restaurant is just across the road with music playing till midnight. Overhead heater is another huge minus for quality sleep. You should expect heat reaching onto your face directly all night long plus the heater never gets the room warm enough except for your face. Carpark is limited - you wont get a spot if come later evening. If anything happens the staffs wont be keen to help out. It’s a business hotel with very limited services. The breakfast buffet is hopeless that I may buy my own frozen meats & veggies to prepare meals just like they do at their buffet venue at Kings restaurant. We booked a room for 3 people. We got 2 mugs, 2 coffee sachets and 2 green tea. No glasses. The 3rd party was my father--in-law. His bed was literally 1 inch from ours. I have known the man for 30 yrs but sleeping that close was not what part of the plan. As it was, he took ill at the last minute, so he was unable to join us...but it's not the point. All I information in the room was Korean as were the instructions to enter the gym and restaurants/bar. Everything seemed a chore and frustrating. The room was clean enough but the construction work on the first night meant I had no sleep at all. We tried to get a coffee in the cafe during their designated opening hours but got told they were only open for take awsys. There's was nowhere to eat in the hotel at night, so one night we had to make do with cornflakes from the 7 eleven. I don't recommend anyone visit Korea unless you do it through a tour group or go with somebod who speaks Korean. I found the people rude and very...
