ROOMS ARE NOT MAINTAINED PROPERLY!!! I am writing this review before we checkout tomorrow. Room 2306 bathroom smelled a bit when we first walked into our room but we were really tired and thought it would go away so we didn't say anything. Then we couldn't stand the extremely foul smell from the bathroom any longer (even with the window open, toilet lid closed and bathroom door open) so we asked for a new room. Upon returning at the end of the day from sightseeing, we were given a new room on the 4th floor - room 2402. We asked for compensation for the trouble (upgraded room, a voucher at the hotel restaurant, etc.) but the receptionist said she didn't have the authority to issue us any compensation. When we asked to speak to the manager, the receptionist said that the manager is on vacation... Room 2402 didn't smell BUT (i) the duvet on both beds had gross stains - one looked like blood spots and the other had a large brown stain, and (ii) the TV didn't have sound... Housekeeping offered to change the sheets. Sheets??? We asked them to give us new duvets! The engineer arrived and fixed the TV after 45 mins of waiting... Read moreGreat hotel, however. Their cleaning staff are a bunch of thieves. We left our phone charger in the room - while no other customer used the room - after we checked out. Staff told us they couldn’t locate the charger. They also went on to say their cleaning staff are “foreigners” (Chinese and Vietnamese according to the man on the phone) and they had no control over what is found in the room - just lousy service on their part. I run a car rental in Jeju and every time customers leave stuff in our cars we make it a mission to find it.
My advice is stay away from this place as staff are thieves - you never know who is in your room while you are out having a good time.

Read moreRooms are dirty and poorly kept. Our first room had pests living in the drains and closets, when you turn on the bathroom light a dozen gnats would start flying around. Our second room had an unpleasant odor, a moldy bathroom, and the balcony door handle fell off when we tried to open it. The staff offered a refund or a third room that we inspected with an attendant. The third room had damaged doors, broken hinges on the cupboards, a moldy bathroom ceiling, and some dust bunnies but was otherwise acceptable FOR A BUDGET MOTEL. Great view, though.
