Hotel The Star — Hotel in South Jeolla

My wife and I spent about ten days at this hotel in September 2023 while visiting family in the area. Very nice hotel, accredited three star that seems to be especially popular with visiting golfers. Rooms are very nice, clean and well equipped including air conditioning which was especially welcome on hot days. Unlike many hotels this property has a large, off-street parking lot right in front of the hotel. One especially nice feature was the breakfast which offers a buffet that's primarily focused on Korean offerings but does have some western dishes. The chef is friendly and focused on ensuring guests get a good meal. Front desk employees are very friendly although their English is limited. The manager does speak English though. Hotel has a cafe and other offerings onsite but I can't comment as we never visited them. 평일 1박 했어요. 위치가 중심가에서 조금 떨어져있지만 그만큼 조용한 편입니다. 산책로도 붙어있어서 가볍게 걷기도 좋아요. 내부에 카페와 바, 식당이 있지만 식당은 수리중이라 이용불가였고 1층의 조식 식당은 이용이 가능했습니다. 방은 비즈니스 호텔 느낌인데 크기는 작은 편이지만 전체적으로 깔끔하고 무난합니다. 다만 일반 모텔에서 기본적으로 제공하는 로션류가 없고 샴푸류와 비누만 있는 점은 좀 불편했네요. 아침에는 1층 식당에서 조식이 가능한데 한식 반찬과 토스트류가 있어서...

뷰 없는 것 제외하곤 너무 만족했어요~(다른 사진 보니 옆에 있는 공원에 벚꽃이 있네? 봄에 관광 오면 좋을듯!) 번듯한 로비부터 청결,서비스,조식,주차 등... 야놀자에서 예약하니까 조식 비용 포함이라던데 이번에만 그런건지 원래 그런건지 아무튼 참고하셔요! 프론트에서 따로 안내는 없던데 객실 내 안내판에는 객실 쓰레기 분리수거 해 달라길래 자잘한 건 두고 치킨 먹고 남은 건 비상계단 입구에 크리닝 카 비치돼있길래 거기에 했음. 3분만 걸어나가면...
