Casa Rural Río Chícamo — Hotel in Abanilla

This place is a blessing. It is very beautiful and quiet, only natural sounds. The caretakers are very nice and helpful people. There is yoga right next to it twice a week, Tuesdays and Thursdays at 19 (7 pm). I think the price was 10 euro per session, but I might be wrong.

There are natural pools in the river below, about 5 to 10 minutes walk up the canyon. There are plenty of nice walks around there in natural areas from fairly strenuous to normal walks, meaning some go up and down, and some are more or less straight levels.

There are at least 4 restaurants within 20 to 30 minutes drive from this place, from normal to very romantic , from normal food to "fancy" food. I would personally recommend trying out El Fielato, in Partidor 15 minutes away, for a nice romantic place. And El Peque, in Mahoya 20 minutes away, for good traditional Spanish food.

There is a place about 30 to 40 minutes away called Baños de Fortuna where they have hot spring pools, I can not remember the price. We only had time to visit one of the 4 or so places. I think it was around 5 to 10 euro per person close to a camping place. But from what I heard, some of the other places also had massage and what not.

Anyway I hope you enjoy this place as much as we did, it truly is a great place to recharge ones batteries or...

A beautiful half wooden and half cave house that stays at the perfect temperature! It has a completely enclosed garden, so it is perfect if you want to take pets! The owners live next door and have a dog and there is a cat. The river is minutes away and you can hear it from the house. There are also many walking routes down to the river and the surrounding areas. The only things missing were some amenities, such as a microwave, kettle/coffee machine, toaster and oven. There is a bbq and the hob to cook on. There are a few villages, the biggest we saw was Albanilla, which has everything you need, and was about 15 minutes away.

fuimos un grupo a pasar la noche, la casa no cuenta con cosas básicas como microondas u horno, tampoco cuenta con ningún tipo de calefacción aparte de las chimeneas, las cuales hay que pagar la carretilla de leña a 15 euros, aparte del precio de la casa. Es decir, si no pagas extra no te calientas, haciendo bastante frio por la noche. Hay una sauna que esta en desuso, faltaban detalles de cuidado como gel y champú en la ducha y otras cosas. Ademas el exterior carece de cualquier tipo de iluminación. Así que no se puede cocinar a la brasa en el exterior ni cenar fuera por la noche. Me ha...
