We had a glorious time at El Pino retreat. Both Maria and Christian were wonderful hosts and took care of everything perfectly. The hotel itself is very clean, tastefully decorated and well positioned with commanding views over the valley and great walks one can do straight from the property or a short drive away.

She also cooked us a delicious dinner one night - probably the best meal we had all week. It really was idyllic. I suppose if you were the kind of people who wanted to be out and about doing things every day, you might get a bit fed up with the twisty 20-minute drive to reach the main road, but it was no...
