Treurer - Olive Grove & Grand House — Hotel in Algaida

Our entire vacation was simply fantastic! It's hard to put into words how wonderful it was. We highly recommend everyone to see it for themselves and enjoy a stay at the Finca Treurer. It will be an experience you'll never forget. We were welcomed so warmly by Sonia and immediately felt very comfortable. When we entered our Junior Suite, we were absolutely thrilled. It truly looked exactly as advertised on the hotel website and in the photos. The rustic yet very modern style resonated perfectly with us and matched our taste. The room was exceptionally clean and tastefully decorated with great attention to detail. We were delighted with the thoughtful welcome gifts. The bed was enormous, measuring 2x2 meters, and the mattress and pillows were a dream. We've rarely slept so well in a bed that wasn't our own. So, relaxation is definitely not in short supply here. Not only the rooms, but the entire Finca has been meticulously designed with a lot of attention to detail. The Treurer logo, the keyhole, can be found frequently throughout the entire property, cleverly hidden in the rooms and across the grounds. We spent 10 nights at the Finca, which allowed us to participate in all 3 of the offered tours. All three tours were led by Miguel, who explained everything very well. We learned a lot about the restoration of the Finca and the history of the family. We were also fortunate enough to visit the olive mill and gain a detailed insight into the production of extra virgin olive oil. You can truly feel the passion and dedication Miguel invests in the olive oil. During the last tour, we took part in an olive oil tasting, which provided us with the final touch, as Miguel said, now we are experts! From now on, we are fans and supporter of Treurer extra virgin olive oil and will not use any other. We already ordered 6 bottles 😊 Following the 3 tours, there was a dinner held directly at the Finca. One of the dinners was a BBQ, and the other two were 5-course meals. All three dinners were prepared by Chef Jose Cortez. In each of his dishes, Jose incorporated the olive oil from Treurer. We truly enjoyed the dinners at the Finca. They were prepared on the terrace with a view of the olive grove. The atmosphere and the food were absolutely fantastic. The breakfast was also a delight. Fresh fruits and vegetables were offered daily, along with bread, yogurt, various cakes, cereal... everything one could desire. There was also the option to order eggs and toast from the kitchen, which were brought fresh by the waiter. We thoroughly enjoyed the breakfast there every day and started our day feeling wonderfully relaxed. In summary, we wholeheartedly recommend Finca Treurer to anyone seeking a tranquil escape away from the mass tourism of Mallorca. The secluded location amidst an olive grove and the limited number of rooms allow you to quickly unwind and truly relax. I really enjoyed staying at this hotel. Everything from the start was done to make us feel very welcome. The place is decorated and built with a lot of tastes and it’s location is second to none as you’re nestled between beautiful mountains. The room is incredibly modern ( yet in a very old building and looks amazing) we took parting in the Olive oil visit and tasting menu by a great chef and it is amazing value for money and an Amazing experience.||Here are a few things I think the hotel should improve on :|- extraction needs to be working in the bathroom as the room can get very humid and stuffy quickly|- I would also look into providing a small fan for the guests as even in the winter the room gets around 24 degrees at night and it gets stuffy and hot really quickly||Will recommend this place and I hope...

Zweite Station unseres Mallorca-Aufenthalts: Fincahotel Treuer (5 Sterne)||||Nach zwei angenehmen Nächten in einem 5-Sterne-Hotel in Palma führte uns unsere Reise weiter ins Fincahotel Treuer. Die Unterkunft bietet die baulichen Standards, die man in dieser Preiskategorie erwarten darf: ein geschmackvoll eingerichtetes Zimmer und eine gepflegte Gartenanlage. Diese Aspekte entsprechen dem, was man bei einem 5-Sterne-Haus voraussetzt – insbesondere bei einem vergleichbaren oder sogar höheren Preisniveau als in Palma.||||Leider blieb das erwartete 5-Sterne-Erlebnis in unserem Fall aus. Die Atmosphäre war nicht so aufmerksam und umsorgend, wie man es sich bei einem Aufenthalt dieser Klasse wünschen würde.||||Was uns negativ aufgefallen ist:||||Während unseres Aufenthalts wurden wir kein einziges Mal gefragt, ob alles in Ordnung sei oder ob wir Unterstützung benötigen.||Die Zimmerreinigung begann während unseres Frühstücks, wurde aber nicht abgeschlossen, bis wir zurückkamen. Das Personal blieb im Zimmer, was zu einer unangenehmen Situation führte||Am zweiten Morgen wurde direkt neben der Terrasse ein Olivenbaum mit Spitzmittel besprüht – laut Aussage „BIO“, aber der starke Geruch ließ uns lieber nach drinnen flüchten.||Ein Sicherheitsmitarbeiter war sehr präsent und auffällig – seine Uniform und sein Verhalten wirkten übertrieben und störten die ruhige Atmosphäre.||Das Frühstück war wenig abwechslungsreich, insbesondere fehlten frische Gemüse und Oliven – obwohl rund um das Hotel tausende Olivenbäume stehen. Auch das Abendessen war aus unserer Sicht überteuert.||||Positiv hervorzuheben:||||Der Spaziergang durch die Olivenhaine mit interessanten Informationen zur Pflege der Bäume sowie der anschließende Grillabend waren ein echtes Highlight.||Die Nachtruhe war angenehm, und die Klimaanlage im Zimmer funktionierte sehr gut – es war angenehm kühl ohne störenden Luftzug.||Fazit:||||Das Fincahotel Treuer bietet eine schöne Anlage und ruhige Nächte, doch das Serviceerlebnis entsprach leider nicht dem Standard, den man bei einem 5-Sterne-Hotel erwartet.
