This is a site of 2 halves. There are large static vans with residents on one side. Nicely spaced and situated - one of the residents let us in by unlocking the gates. He was keen to tell us how happy they are and well looked after by the owner. The touring side is another matter. Pitches are narrow, with hedges. The few 'resident', permanent touring caravans did not have the usual awnings that we have seen on other sites - there is not the space, not even to park a car next to the vans. Likewise we didn't have enough space to open our awning so we had to sit behind our vehicle. Normally that's not a problem (we don't stay long on sites with such small pitches) BUT the pitch had rubbish from whoever last stayed there - wipes, paper etc. a perfume bottle (!) including a parasol (in pieces, but we could have reassembled it!!). The worst was redundant sewer pipe, running along the back of several pitches, including ours, 'capped off' with black plastic bags & tape. Not nice to sit near to eat 😒 The toilets were clean. Didn't wash up in their dishwashing sinks as the area was dirty and only seemed to have cold water. Rubbish has to be taken outside the site - which may account for the amount left on the pitch. The local dogs and cockerels started their racket at 11pm for the entire night (standard for many sites, unfortunately, and outside the control of the site). Earplugs needed. There is a small shop and bar, we weren't there long enough...

The pool has steps for walk-in access with depth starting at 1m and rising to 2m. The area surrounding the pool has sun beds with cushions for added comfort. The bar and reception is open from 10.00 to 22.00 hours and is staffed by courteous members of the team. The toilet / shower block is nearby, is clean and offers hot water as one would expect. We booked for 7 nights and then extended our stay to 10 nights. In the ratings, we've scored everything highly. We stayed in our motorhome and used our own mifi so are not rating the site accommodation and wifi but feel it's wrong to mark them down because we don't know! This site is not for everyone. The tranquility it offers comes from it's location. The nearest town is a short bus ride away ( but is cyclable and walkable) where you will find all the shops, restaurants and amenities you could want. We cycled (on ebikes) and walked to the town within 20 mins and 50 mins respectively along a track which starts near the site . There are signposted walks near the site too which we didn't explore. The toilet /shower block are dated and could do with updating but are adequate and fit for purpose. Noise from barking dogs and cockerells starts around dawn but is something we got used to and it...

The camp site is very well maintained and and has static homes on it and having meet most of the owners I found them very pleasant and helpful. The toilets and showers are to a very good standard with constant hot water and are cleaned on a daily basis. The pitches are well big enough to cater for any size motorhome or caravan and all have EHU. Staff are the most accommodating you will find in Spain and go beyond the call of duty to make your stay rememberable. I used this as a base camp whilst I travelled Spain over 90 days and will definitely use it again. The swimming pool is of a very good size and also maintained on a daily basis. If your thinking of driving past please just call in for a night then take it from there, the views are worth that alone. British owned all speak English, Spanish and French * star for me sometimes you can't see the wood...
