The strongest quality the manager of this site has is that of attempting a friendship with you. Everything else is hopeless.||||There is one camping field, and the manager decided he wanted it for himself and his family over the winter. All of us campers had to move and pitch next to camper vans in the concrete camper parking area. He allowed me to put my tent in the field to begin with and then forced me and two others to move by flooding the field with water. No water ever arrived on the field throughout the winter, UNTIL, I asked to move back to the field because of noisy neighbours. Suddenly, the field flooded again and I was asked to come and see for myself the reason why I couldn't move back to the camping field. The next day it was dry again, the manager and his family enjoying the field for themselves. (fields are watered by opening irrigation channels. This is the only way water arrives in the field. ||||The toilets are disgusting and the manager cleans them himself personally every weekend when his very poorly paid boys take some time off. They clean at 07:30 in the morning, waking everyone in the camping field up (when campers are there in the summer, the family preferring the coolness of their house at that time of year) by slamming all the doors in the toilet block as none of them have proper hinges or close and lock properly. The actual doors to the toilet block are swinging saloon style doors that slam and bang every time someone enters - 11pm, 2:30am, 5am, you name it, and of course at 07:30am.||||There is no proper electric set up on site, only garden extension leads, which the manager never does anything about, preferring to let the electric circuit short out in the rain, leaving all campers without electricity until it stops. The extension leads are left out in the rain, like the electric fridges etc. So whenever it rains, all electricity goes down. Apparently the manager can't get it fixed, never mind being in an area with well over 300 days of sunshine a year!||||The internet is just as bad. When I arrived, it took 2 weeks of constant running around (and again when he made me move my tent for his own enjoyment of the camping field), changing router and extender positions, all things that any normal manager in 2018 would have done before you arrive. The campsite does advertise internet as a provided service.||||There is no privacy in the showers! The main showers are communal - NO PRIVACY (and they stink). The new toilet block (on the other side of the site) has 2 showers that have their own cubical, but the saloon door to each cubical stops at chest height. Again, no privacy really. Incidently, the ceiling inside the new block caved in over the winter and it was possible to see the cowboy workmanship that had gone into constructing the place. Old tree branches had been used for the frame of the structure - not nice beams - just scrappy branches that had been found lying around that had been stuffed into the roof to hold it up, which of course they didn't.||||If the manager is disturbed at night (after 12am) by noisy campers, he asks them to leave. If you or I are disturbed at that time he says, 'live and let live', and does not enforce the rules he has printed on his own flyer (which he gives to you when you arrive).||||Also, the site is RIGHT next to the main coast road, with very noisy traffic (motorbikes and trucks) starting at about 7am and finishing at around 1am.||||Overall, the campsite is in terrible disrepair and the manager has absolutely no intention of improving things for his guests. It is all about himself and the desires of his wife. The needs of the campsite come second. Therefore, the only campers you will find at the site are basically drug addled hippies who ignore the woeful shortcomings of the place because they like the 'trust' (manager can't be bothered to staff the bar - alcohol is just sitting there in the open for anyone to take, leave money...
Read moreWe planned on staying one or two nights because the city wasn't so interesting, we stayed one week for the amazing camping !!||Very open minded, friendly, caring, has a lot of equipments like the common room with books, DVD, projector for movies, several couches,... the self-service kitchen and bar are amazing too ! Never seen that trust anywhere else ! Nice terrace to eat or relax, several places for the toilets, showers and dishes, you never have to wait, and can choose a private shower cabin if you don't like the common showers. There are also washing machines and a dryer for 3€ each with washing powder supplied, and several clothes hangers that you can put in the common room to protect them if it's humid or rainy.||The camping itself was an abandoned camping they took in charge 5 years ago, and put a big diversity of plants, so it has the particular charm of Andalucia where people know how to make new places and things with the old ones ! So it's not contemporary or fully modern or full of technology or brand new, but that's not what we expect from this camping. May you keep this sweet charm that makes your place so calming and relaxing !||We stayed with our tent in a grassy place, very comfortable, and it has chairs and tables.||The only bad point is that there are also some playground toys around, so mark were you put the pins in the ground because sometimes kids run on it and so may hurt themselves or break the cords of the tent.||||Also there's the road next to the camping (not on the side of the tents place) so it's a bit noisy, and dangerous to come by feet or bicycle. Please note that this IS NOT the responsibility of the camping !!!! They're not in charge of how the municipality makes the roads ! Better blame the municipality for not caring about the clients that need to come and go.||||Also, they have nice kids and a little adorable dog named Rex, and the people there are quite friendly, some of them stay for long so they know all the good places of the city :) and Henning (the boss) is very helpful, when you arrive he gives you a map of the city and write for you the places of interest and useful addresses such as groceries and market.||||Oh and I almost forgot : all of this for a sweet little price !||||Well, I could write so much more, but the best is for you to come and enjoy ! I liked it so much that I even bought the t-shirt...
Read moreArrived on Wednesday 25th May for 2 weeks stay. Reception staff were friendly and helpful and we were given our accommodation keys. Lovely simple grid system campsite, would be difficult to get lost. ||The mobile home was in a quiet position with everything we needed for an enjoyable stay. The supermarket on site was very good, with everything we needed without having to leave the site. The swimming pool was great but could imagine it would get very crowded in high season. The bar was good, we had a meal in the restaurant which was good. A bit disappointed at the price of the set menu. But I suppose that's just a reflection of rising prices everywhere. ||The beach was regularly cleaned, but it was a bit stony as you entered the water. The water was lovely and clean. There was plenty of room on the beach, but not very wide directly across the road from the campsite.||We enjoyed popping to Chepi's Bar, which was just outside the campsite. Beer was the same price.||We had a lovely holiday and would love to return to...
