Enough places to rent material, fast queues to get the forfeit, decent fast food options (I didn't try the main restaurant as it was almost full the day before Christmas).

There are a couple of really easy tracks for newer people to learn or warm-up. There's an easy-medium long wide track that you can enjoy, either going alone or with a big group as people is usually respectful and gives you space to not bother you.

Talking about harder tracks, they are beautiful. I really enjoyed them. I went alone fast and nonstopping till the end, and also with a small group of newer skiers, stopping during the tracks so they could catch a breath, and they were great. You could enjoy the faster sections, the turns, the stop-enjoy-the-view-and-go places.

For the most professional skiers, I would recommend a couple of days to enjoy the station overall and the views. For the newcomers to skiing and snowboarding, this is a great station to start and get to an intermediate-high level while enjoying the progress. 10/10 I've been recommending it for 10...

La Masella are the closest skiing slopes from Barcelona at less than two hours drive which makes them perfect for a short skiing getaway but are not the best option if you are really looking for great snow. There's not a lot of snow and most of it is artificial. There are many iced parts going down the slopes and some of them have gravel. If it is a holiday or some of the slopes are closed it can get very jammed at some parts. If you go during weekdays you will enjoy some slopes for yourself. The forfait is a piece of paper instead of a plastic card which can get damaged easily and be torn away if you fall. I recommend this place if you are looking for a quick skiing trip or you are a beginner. Vaig tenir una súper MALA experiència esquiant a la Masella . Vaig pujar al telecadira Jumbo Tossa amb un anorack nou i vaig sortir amb tota l'esquena bruta de grasa amb una taca ENORME en aquest DESCENTE (tenia una setmana justa).Vaig anar a informació i em van dir que anés a la Tintoreria i que m'ho arreglarien.Agafo l'anorac i vaig fins a la Tintoreria que em van recomanar a Puigcerdà i just quan entro em van dir que no era el primer ni l'últim i que no hi havia res a fer, que els de La Masella ja ho sabien.Efectivament,torno a recollir-ho i l'anorac és inservible.Pago la tintoreria i vaig cap a pistes a reclamar, allà parlo amb Sr.Sergi Tarrés, Director de l’Estació d’Esquí de Masella i em diuen si tinc el forfait de temporada de la Masella, li dic que no i que lo important és que jo he pagat el forfait d'un dia amb la familia i que les instal-lacions no estaven en condicions pq hi havia grasa dels telecadires per donar i per vendre....en fi, em diu que em paga la tintoreria i que li porti la factura de l'anorac pq miraràn si el seguro que tenen ho cobreix i que jem trucaràn....passa una setmana, dues i tres....total que truco i em diuen que els hi sap molt de greu però que no em pagaràn res.En fi, apart de fer-me perdre temps, diners i la paciència, m'he tingut que comprar un anorac nou per la incompetència d'una direcció que no té la decència de tenir una assegurança per quan els hi passa casos com aquest i pel que em van comentar a la tintoreria els hi passen aquests casos freqüents.En fi, si algú vol anar-hi que porti roba vella pq sinò ja sap el que li pot passar.Posso una estrella pq no en puc possar 0 que es el...
