The place is good, the house is beautiful. But there are things we didn't like. Like how the reception was unfriendly (a woman). She looked irritated when we came. She didn't even smile once. The whole time of our check-in, she was just irritated, we don't know why. Second, there was no fan in the room, we didn't expect the room to have an aircon, but at least a fan would be nice to have, as the weather was very hot in summer. Third, the guests above our room were making A LOT of noise from 12 am to 1 am, I went out of our room to complain to the reception but no one was there, so we had to bear the noise. I wanted to complain to the guests directly but being disabled, I can't go up the stairs. Fourth, it was nice to have our own entry to our room but since the entry is located near the "breakfast area", we could hear how people talk and banging their utensils. It was very unpleasant. It would be better if they placed the table a bit far from the room. Not all people are early risers. And lastly, for the price (over €100) there should be a mini-fridge in the room, an extra bin, and a fan. The house is badly soundproofed, you can hear everything. The whole stay was such a...
Read moreI want to share my experience staying at a wonderful hotel that became a true oasis of peace and comfort for me. The hotel is quiet and cozy, with a spacious and green courtyard. You can’t only enjoy your breakfast outdoors but also spend time listening to birdsong and soaking in the serene atmosphere. If you enjoy meditation or yoga in the fresh air, you'll love this place. Breakfast is available at the hotel for €14, and it's worth it—everything is fresh and delicious, perfect for starting your day. I also want to highlight the hotel owner, who is very friendly and always ready to help you plan routes around the area. If you're looking to discover interesting and off-the-beaten-path spots in this part of Spain, don't hesitate to ask him—he knows many hidden gems. This hotel is the perfect choice for those seeking peace and a chance to enjoy nature, far from the noise and bustle. I highly recommend it to anyone who values coziness and...
Read moreWhat a great experience for the 13 of us in Casa Costoia. It's a beautiful hotel in a lovely village setting in Costoia, to the west of Santiago de Compostela.||Since we were 13, we had the Inn mostly for ourselves. The rooms are nice and well-furnished, but not big, with the exception of the two rooms on the upper floor, which are bigger (and cost a bit more). There's a nice living room and dining room downstairs. ||Since there are not dining places in the area, Javier - the owner who was very nice - cooked dinner for us which was awesome. Don't miss the Galicia stew. ||The only drawbacks:|- it's 6 km from Santiago de Compostela, so if you want to be in the city, this is not the hotel for you. |- you will need transportation to get there. |- the WiFi is so flaky, that it is simply useless. ||Overall its a four star experience which gets the fifth star from me because of the really...
