Hotel Konbenio — Hotel in Amorebieta-Etxano

apparently I wasn't the first who arrived at the place with all doors closed, I arrived at 2:30 pm (reception open 7:30 till midnight - according to the booking) ...the place was locked down ....after about 20 min I started taking pics so suddenly the owner lady opened the door and let me in ...in a rather hostile way ...she took the data and asked for the payment for the 3 nights immediately ...this was the only time I ever saw the reception open during 3 days; the room was small and very dark, only 2 bulbs out of 3 worked, the room was cramped with old pieces of furniture; the house looks nice but the room wasn't too nice as a quarter; the wifi which should work according to the booking in the whole place did not work in the room ...so I was sitting near the bar for 2 hours to do some internet stuff ...the bar was never open nothing was served ....when asking where to get a coffee ...the lady pointed to the city ....asking for the railway station ...she said there are two ..no further elaboration; since the place is always locked down the electronic door opening card also works for the front door, not very well ...a bit outdated ...so when I returned and it was raining and pampered with the door opening card for a while till it finally opened ...the lady was sitting inside not 60 ft away and could not open ....this place is hostile and the due to the announced but not available offerings like wifi, reception etc ...a complete fraud ....there is another place down the road called Harrison by far a...

The building itself is nice, looks like an old castle, especially the lobby. The owner is courteous and friendly. My room was clean and big enough, but it must have been the darkest room I have ever seen. There are only three bedside lamps for the whole room. Makes it hard to see inside the closet!||Another really big issue was the noise: the walls are paper-thin, and if you have somebody on the next room talking, watching TV or going to the bathroom (!) be ready, is like it's happening in your room! I would have like to ear somebody have sex..||Wi-fi is free but very slow, and breakfast not included, and the selection not so big.||So at the end it was just a barely acceptable stay,...

We rent the full hotel for spending Christmas all the family together. 3rd time same location, every time we have a problem (fire in one neighbour, no working heating machine and doors don't open) we call the renter and no solution to the problems. After some time the owner is advise and problem solved. But being 2 hours at street, 2 more hours without heating machine, 5 hours without entering in a room... Bad feeling. When we complein, saying that there can be a baby inside the room (just luck we closed the door before putting the baby inside!) She laughed about it... resuming: Good place with bad...
