Arrival: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Unfortunately, the hotel does not have its own parking spaces. It is not only the issue of their absence, but also the problem of finding a suitable spot nearby, which can be challenging. However, once you find one, you are warmly welcomed. The service staff guides you to the cozy lobby and offers you champagne or orange juice. After submitting your ID, the check-in process is taken care of by the staff without the guest noticing. After a short while, the guest receives a wooden room key. Although only one out of the two elevators was available, there were no restrictions or long waiting times.
Room: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ First and foremost, you will definitely be impressed. The initial impression of the room is simply overwhelming. Everything in the room is designed to provide a view of the sea at all times, whether you’re showering, brushing your teeth, watching TV, or lying in bed. The room was meticulously cleaned and equipped with modern amenities.
Service: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ The entire service staff is excellently trained and always strives to make the guest’s experience exceptional. The best and most cost-effective way to make the guest happy is through the constant smiles they receive. However, there are also days when you sit at the breakfast table and are not approached even once.
Breakfast: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Unfortunately, there are hardly any vegan options, despite being advertised differently beforehand. In other words, there is a lack of fresh raw vegetables such as tomatoes, cucumbers, or bell peppers. There is no real vegan spread (not even margarine). However, vegan options are provided upon request. Initially, it was a bit awkward, but it improved over time and became more delicious. The selection of bread is rather limited, but very fresh. The variety remains almost the same, but with consistently high quality. I appreciate the efforts made.
Dinner: Cannot rate as it was not utilized.
Conclusion: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ A beautiful and peaceful hotel to relax and unwind. In my opinion, the guest always takes center stage, and if something is missing, every effort is made to satisfy the guest. The price-to-performance ratio is justified, although some “extras” can be quite expensive, but I am referring only to the room rates. The deduction of a star is due to the lack of private parking spaces and the constant need to inquire about vegan food. I would gladly return and highly recommend the hotel.
Note to the hotel: Perhaps it would be possible to rent an area from the parking attendant of the surrounding paid parking lots to offer guests a discounted or free parking space. Additionally, the labeling of vegan dishes is not always accurate. For example, “Nutella is not vegan” is labeled as such. Similarly, raw vegetables could be of interest to...
Read moreI had an amazing time at this beautiful hotel and felt very safe as a solo female traveller in the area of Sant Elm. The staff are very professional and I felt at home the minute I walked in. It is a perfect retreat with recently renovated rooms and I spent most nights enjoying the incredible views and live music from my balcony. Everything felt very clean. The beach club has a ladder into the sea or you can enter via the two sandy beaches that border the hotel. You do not need water shoes contrary to other reviews I read before going.
My only gripe which would stop me returning was the cost of the beach club, the cost is somewhat high even for a hotel guest. It is €30-€50 per sunbed for a full day, depending on if you choose front row or not. You can also reserve for half day. The club loungers are extremely comfy but the cost does mean people don’t seem to order much in the way of drinks. I personally wonder if the hotel would make more money by offering hotel guests a minimum spend alternative on food and drink if they spend the day at the beach club. I did end up spending everyday at the beach club but that was my personal conclusion.
The staff do not harass you for drink or food orders… which was appreciated, but at the same time I found that you do have to get up from your sunbed to order anything.
Reception were extremely friendly and really set those first impressions and the breakfast was...
Read moreSo much has been said about the standard: the friendliness of the staff, the beautiful views, that I'd rather write about specific shortcomings. And also, do you think it is normal for people who arrived on vacation to pay a lot of money for a nice room, at least with a nice view, and be placed on the 2nd floor, without a view of the sea (only we saw the beach), although the reservation was made 4 months in advance. Is it normal that we had to ask to be moved, to find another place, when you knew very well that the room was booked (4 months) before we came. How is that possible? You moved us, but it is very strange that we were not there from the beginning, I have a hakwazi (4th floor with a view), please control who books when, give people like us privileges. the food we ate was more like a cheap guesthouse than a 4-star hotel. (I didn't see any seafood dishes) isn't it too expensive for a hotel to have even shrimp? There should be no music after 22:00 under the windows, people came just like us to relax, this place is considered family friendly (St. Elmo) 3 A huge disadvantage is that the pool is open only until 20:00, and after that time it stops, why? On the contrary, we really wanted to stay in the pool in the evening, to steam, because at night we will not swim in the sea. Make a schedule at least until 22:00 and...
