Villas Finca La Emperatriz — Hotel in Baños de Rioja

My wife and I traveled to Spain on our honeymoon and were looking for a private "home base" while we explored the Rioja region. The villas at the Finca La Emperatriz winery were perfect – we had a lovely furnished cottage with beautiful views of the mountains to the north and the south, and it was a unique experience to stay in the middle of a working winery. We were able to cook one evening without incident and also found it easy to visit towns nearby including Ezcaray, Haro, Elciego, and Santo Domingo del la Calzada. The staff were very helpful and professional, and even arranged for us to do a tasting of the Hermanos Hernaiz wines on short notice (try the Finca La Emperatriz white Rioja – especially good). Amazing place to stay. So quiet and tranquil. Villas are very comfortable and modern. Terrace has stunning views of the vineyards. Haro is a 20 min drive with lots of great restaurants....

Un lugar encantador, muy muy recomendable. Las villas son preciosas, cómodas, con todo lo que puedas necesitar, decoración muy cuidada y una tranquilidad enorme.
