The exterior of this hotel is nothing special but the rooms have been updated and are clean and modern. The bathrooms, though small, were well designed, had lovely tilework and plenty of hot water. There are two dining rooms and bars, one modern and the other a cozy brick-lined, rustic, more traditional design. The food was great. I had stuffed eggplant and chicken/veggie skewers.||||The staff spoke no English, which made the check-in process a little slow but it was not a problem at dinner because they had some English menus. Breakfast was only toast and coffee but they agreed to an earlier serving time than usual.||||The hotel is located up twisty mountain roads in a small village with few services and no gas station. The charming part of this location is the lovely church, narrow winding flagstone "streets" (more like walkways) and houses stacked up steep hillsides lined with almond groves. We were here in March and the trees were covered in pink blossoms. Gorgeous.||||There is a major bicycle race through here every year so I suggest avoiding that time.
