We booked this accommodation via Booking.com and based on a previous review ( now removed) which was positively glowing. We wanted somewhere rural and traditional with good facilities.||The apartments themselves are very nice, in that they are very well equipped ( via IKEA) and include a dishwasher, iron, etc.||However the photos attached to this, and the info given to Booking.com are very misleading. There is not a pool. There is free access to a community pool about 5 minutes away, and this is where the photo on Tripadvisor was taken. There is a small communal patio area, but no loungers. And the view from our window was the local tip, which probably explained the fly problem. And this former farm house has obviously sold off all its land as it is surrounded by houses, so not the rural setting we were expecting.||However we sort of got our heads round this, and decided to make the best of a bad situation. But on the morning after our arrival the owners told us we were double booked. They said that we would have to move to different accommodation for two nights, then return again, and they would pay for a free meal!. Basically they had taken a booking for the whole building for the weekend and we had to go. We had received an email the week before we came asking for our phone number as they wanted to discuss "some details" of our stay. I responded but heard nothing. If we had been told what was proposed we would have cancelled.||What happened was that on that day and the following they tried to offer alternative accommodation that was not suitable. They had sourced some accommodation that looked very lovely, but we had to share a kitchen with anyone else who was staying, and they had no control over whether this was one person or a stag party! ||We then contacted Booking.com who moved us on the third day, but we had spent the best part of two days not knowing where we were going. The owner told us that the other party had booked at the same time and it was Booking.com's fault, but in reality they got a better offer and took it, regardless of the fact that they had a booking by us. We are now in accommodation that we would never have chosen, but at least we know we can stay to the end of our holiday!||We had paid nearly £900 for eight nights for a 2 bed apartment at casa roja from 30th June so in my view it wasn't particularly cheap. My genuine advice would be to avoid anywhere that treats guests in such a...
Read moreReally beautiful refurbished farm house, lovely decorated, clean and comfortable. It is located 15min to the beach and 15 min to the mountains, in a small neighborhood surrounded by vineyards, orchards and 2min from the next town. Great for families with children as it has a small playground in front of the house and big swimming pool area with basket, tennis courts and garden. ||We spent a week in one of the 5 people apartment, visited vineyards and did a wine tasting tour, explored the beautiful beaches around, went to visit mystic Barcelona and even could enjoy a traditional party in one of the villages next to the house. The apartment was fully equipped, just need to bring yourself, everything else is provided! We even contracted the catering service for dinners, yummy!||About the owners, lovely, fast answer to any query and exquisite service.||We had a wonderful time and would have loved to stay there longer but the trip continued, next stop France.||In all honesty, one of the best places we have ever been hosted, 100%...
Read moreVery beautiful and charming farm house, well decorated and equipped. It was perfect for our family holidays. ||Well located, close to the beach (15 mins) and to the mountains (10 mins) and surrounded by vineyards, we deeply enjoyed the experience of waking up and choose if that would be a "beach day" or a "mountain day".||Beside its location, the facilities we enjoyed of were great! Swimming pool, playground for the kids, a cozy terrace... Just perfect.||And the apartment we stayed in too! Ideal for 2 adults and 2 kids, with everything you might need (I honestly think it was better equipped than our home).||We stayed there for a week, and time ran way too fast.||Whenever we have the chance we will pay a...
