We found this amazing campsite online originally whilst looking for a place to camp for a few days in North of Spain. This site was practically empty as it was a few days before the start of the summer season.||The lady at reception was super and so friendly. She didn't speak English so i used my rather rusty Spanish from when i lived in Spain several years ago! She directed us to the most perfect pitch under the pines and perfect views of the mountains all around. Dry, clean fresh! She told us that the restaurant wasn't yet open as it was still too early in the season, but came and told us later that they had decided to open it for the few of us there which was fab! The delicious home cooked food was out of this world! We met Pedro who served our drinks and meals and made us so welcome with our mutual love of music, ACDC! We also met Angel the chef who was a great guy too. What a fantastic few days there. We'd ridden up on our big motorcycle loaded up! The toilet/shower block was so clean, natural water from the mountains, warmed by the log burner in the shower block and the smell of the burnt pine mmmmm! We would love to go back and see them all again oneday...Thankyou all!! A...
Read moreIf you like rural camping with a bit of comfort then this is the place for you. We had a tent pitch in the pine forest, it was quite stoney and a good work out getting the tent pegs in. The toilet and shower block were clean and heated with a log burner which was a good touch. There is a bar and restaurant on site, my only criticism with this is, there was a menu but when you were seated, you are given a different menu with the items they actually have...and no prices...our drinks were reasonably priced but the food proved a little expensive. You can order bread and there is free wifi over the site. The local town is really nice with a couple of little shops and cafes, all at very good prices. Over all its pretty good, just could do with the reasturant being a little clearer on what they are able to serve..also it's the highest campsite in Spain so there are great views and places to walk, cycle and rocks for the...
Read moreCamping las Correlizas has a lot of nice camping places between the pine trees and looking out at the big rocks. Electricity is well provided for around the camping and I was even able to fully charge my Tesla using the camping electricity pool over a 24 hour period. This was handy as charging facilities in Spain are not well distributed, in particular not in this area. Management was very helpful in achieving this and even offered 16 Ampere in stead of the regular 10 Ampere.|It was a very nice relaxing time on the camping with possibility to make nice walks around Bronchales and going on day trips to Teruel and Albarracín, both great cities with Mudejar architecture. Deer and goats walk over the camping place, particular during the night. Note that beginning of May is fairly cold in a tent during the night as temperatures dropped to 3 degrees celcius on this high altitude. Summer must...
