Our stay at Casa La Higuera was nothing short of magical! Nestled in a beautiful rural location surrounded by lush greenery and nature, the tranquility was simply breathtaking. The peaceful nights with only the sounds of animals were blissfully relaxing. The property, situated in a charming tiny village with a captivating history, provided a unique and fascinating experience. A quick Google search for El Acebuchal unveils its rich story, adding depth to our appreciation. The lovely owners, were the epitome of hospitality. Their friendliness and kindness made us feel like cherished guests. The nearby restaurant, just a stone's throw away, surprised us with a delectable vegetarian meal. From "patatas a lo pobre" to fried peppers and house salad, every bite was a delight, not to mention the heavenly freshly baked bread. The restaurant's accommodation didn't stop at dinner – they treated us to a delightful breakfast with the same amazing bread, eggs, avocado, tomato, and coffee. The service was truly exceptional. The house itself exceeded expectations. Cozy yet modern, impeccably clean, and spacious, it felt like a home away from home. Its convenient location between Malaga and Granada allowed us to explore both cities easily while still enjoying the rural serenity. A special mention goes to Antonio's tiny shop, a hidden gem with homemade meats, cheeses, local produce, and delightful souvenirs. The goat's cheese and jams were a taste sensation, as were the tiny avocados. With all the amenities needed for a comfortable stay and the property's well-run management, we're eagerly counting the days until our next visit. We simply can't wait to go back to this idyllic retreat! Highly recommended!!

I HIGHLY RECOMMEND this magical and peaceful house. It has exquisite views of the quaint white "lost village" and of the hills filled with pine trees. You are surrounded by nature and nature sounds including a very enthusiastic donkey. 😂 The perfect place to completely relax and unwind. The house is beautiful and cozy, with very comfortable beds. The owner is very helpful and friendly. We will be back! THANK YOU Sebastian and Irene 😊
