Absolutely stunning ❤️ just what I needed after a ten hours drive through France. The place is breathtaking. The welcome is warm and the rooms make you feel like royalty. If you're expecting immaculately clean and cobweb free then youll be disappointed - it's reassuringly dusty which is totally what you'd expect of a historical yet tastefully decorated manor house. It feels like your rich uncles home in the country. The energy cannot be underestimated - yes it's peaceful but it's an embracing energy, you feel instantly comforted by all the finishing touches and the warm cosy lighting. The beds could perhaps be upgraded to a more luxurious set up but this place oozes rustic charm with endless decadence. A place to remember for sure! Thank you for making me so welcome 🙏🏼

Quirky to say the least. The old retainer checks you in and leads you through a museum like setting, to a very basic moth ball smelling room, with poor lighting. The extra pillow has more stains than a baby's bib.No where to eat ,no kettle to drink .Any thing you may need,we are told is in the next town. There are a few guests ,a lot seem prepared with cool boxes of food. The out side seats were caked in grime , luckily a fellow traveler has box of wipes .It was a experience. But we had payed less the day before for a 3 star hotel with full facilities, so no thank you it's not for us again.

Arrived about 6 in the dark having asked several people how to find this remote spot. Navarrete is such a small hamlet and there appeared to be no one about and no cars. Quite spooky. Found the hotel and in the dark it looked large and very dark, we expected Count Dracula to open the door. The hotel was in darkness. We knocked on the door and rang the bell, no answer. We phoned the number on the booking sheet and no one answered the phone. We were the only car in the car park so we wondered if maybe it had closed down since booking. Then a Spanish family pulled up. They had stayed there before. They could not get and answer. Then we spotted a tiny note with 2 phone numbers on it pinned to the door. Phoned and a lady said to wait 10 minutes, we did and suddenly a few lights went on inside. It was the end of October and their restaurant was closed, nothing was open in the hamlet either. Not a good start. Large room though. T.V didn't work. Church bell nearby rings every 15 minutes. Wasn't too happy until the morning when we managed to see the hotel and how beautiful it was inside and out. Would recommend it in season, it looks lovely in the court yard in the sun. Shame they don't actually welcome you on arrival. I have marked it good because it was spotless and the rooms were lovely. The lady who we met was nice enough but it lacked a little...

We were travelling from Murcia towards the Pyrenees with our small dog and stayed one night at the Rincon De Navarrete. ||||It's an hotel that's full of character and well worth a stay. Rincon de Navarrete in a small hamlet and is reached by a drive of about 10Km from the larger town of Calamocha. Our drive there, in the evening sun, was highly photogenic.||||The hotel may once have been the 'grand house' since the buildings and roofs are typical of additions over time. The walk to our room passed many interesting paintings.||||We thought our room was splendid. There was a large cast iron four-poster bed (very comfortable as the interior was modern) with overhead diagonals meeting in a crown. Much or the furniture dated from a more sturdy era when marble and cast iron was used in placed of plastic. From our window, tiled roofs sloped off in different directions. A real place for travellers' tales. The room was spacious and there was ample storage. Our small dog was made welcome.||||Car parking is good and we ate a lovely set meal in the hotel restaurant. We were the first guests of the evening to arrive. Although the hotel was locked there was a message on the door with a number to ring and the owner soon arrived. I've since found out that this can happen both in France and Spain, so don't worry if it happens to you.||||We recommend this hotel and...
