Hotel Los Nogales — Hotel in Campo

Stayed here for 3nights while exploring the area.|The hotel is welcoming with friendly staff albeit only one person spoke any English. Not a problem gave me a chance to practice my Spanish. |The room is pretty basic ,but had everything you need. It smelled a bit musty when we arrived, but this went when we opened the windows.|No air conditioning in the rooms, so relied on keeping the heat out by keeping the shutters down and windows open. |The hotel has a lounge and breakfast room but no bar. |The underground car park was great for our motorcycles as it was quite big. |Wi-Fi was free but was a bit slow.|Breakfast was a bit basic, coffee, toast and sweat bread/cake.|There were a few places to eat locally and the food was adequate. Ensure you check which bar Is open and selling food as it can be hit and miss.|There is a patisserie shop locally that does serve breakfast and has more of a selection.|There isn't much to do in and around the hotel unless it is rafting / canoing etc.|Again a great little stop for us as we were out all day on our bikes exploring.|We would...

I reserved a room for one night on my way to San Sebastian, but I extended my stay by another night. I arrived very late following an incident earlier in the day, but the family who run the hotel waited up for me, took my washing, drew me maps and advised me on cycling in the area, shared routes, directed me into the (tight!) car parking to charge my car, showed me a room where I could lock my bikes to save trouble, allowed me to wash my bike after my ride. Breakfast was simple but ample and tasted great. I couldn't have asked for better care or thoughtfulness of what I might need. I've just spent 6 nights here with 4 of my friends all on motors bikes , the place is in an excellent location for doing some of the best roads available , it has underground parking for cars or bikes, the rooms are clean well looked after and comfortable, it is ran by Enrique , his wife and his son , Enrique and his wife don't speak much English , but go out of there way to sort any of your needs , his son speaks very good English , Breakfast is available on request , simple but ample , saying that they will make you anything you want on request , Drinks are available also and are very well priced , All in all had a very good time here and would highly...
