I don’t usually review hotels, but we have just had the most amazing week at Hotel Migjorn. We have never felt so relaxed with our 4 and 2 year old and this is all down to the atmosphere and facilities provided here. ||||Within the room we had a big bedroom that was able to fit two junior size beds in. We also had a kitchen living area where we could have put the beds and within this area you had everything you would need for making travelling with a baby or toddler easier. There were also toys in the room and a bathroom that had a potty, child toilet seat and foot stool. We also a huge balcony with sun loungers and a smaller balcony with chairs.||||The bedroom had shutters that blacked out the room and there was also extra black out blinds offered if we wanted to move the beds into the living area.||||The pool was heated and perfect for the girls to play and learn to swim, there were gradual steps into the pool and it got deeper in the middle. There were loads of floats and toys and armbands that were communal, which meant the girls didn’t get bored and we didn’t need to buy anything new. ||||There was a small sheltered playground close to the restaurant with toys also and the pool and playground toys were replenished with new ones while we stayed.||||There were also beach umbrella’s, toys and towels available to take with us to the beach which was perfect as the beaches in August were busy.||||Birgit and Jonas were the most lovely hosts and made the effort to help us and guide us when we needed it. They sent out an information pack before we arrived and this had so many family friendly ideas/trips, which we had not found when searching ourselves beforehand.||||And last but not least, the food was INCREDIBLE! ||||‘Luxury to me is not about buying expensive things; it's about living in a way where you appreciate things‘ This truly sums up...

Read moreWe have enjoyed a wonderful holiday in Es Migjorn with our two kids (1 and 2 years old). It is a charming, small hotel (10 rooms) in the South of Mallorca (less touristy, still many nice places to visit, nice restaurants, beaches etc.). The hotel caters for families with (small) kids, without becoming 'hysterical': the pool is heated, there is a small playground, a trampoline and a special kids menu.
As parents, we enjoyed the great hospitality, service and gastronomy. A delicious breakfast buffet, a great cocktail menu and local wines and a lovely dinner every night (you can select your dinner from a few tasty options every day). We finally had nice and relaxed dinners again, because the children could eat early and we later (after we put them to bed).
The rooms are spacious and spotless. There is only one bedroom, which is perhaps a bit suboptimal, but definitely not a reason to enjoy our stay less.
Birgit and Jonas and the full hotel staff go out of their way to make you feel at home and connect you to other guests. We had a wonderful holiday and we are already planning to be...
