I stayed one night end of May at Encanto Guesthouse and had a wonderful experience. Susanne and Eric were incredibly welcoming and responsive — their warm hospitality really made the stay special.
I stayed in Room No. 2, which had a super comfy bed that made for a great night’s sleep. The rooftop terrace is a true gem — cozy and inviting, perfect for relaxing in the evening.
One thing to note: the windows face a busy pizzeria, so it can be a bit noisy in the evening and early morning. That said, it didn’t take away from the overall comfort and charm of the place.
Another big plus is the convenient location, close to several parking areas, couple of nice restaurants and just a short walk to the start of the El Saltillo trail — ideal for nature lovers and hikers.

The Dutch couple that own the hotel were both very friendly and spoke good English.|Breakfast was absolutely amazing and different each day.|Room was clean and comfortable and had a roof terrace, which we only used a handful of times as it wasn't the warmest time of the year.|Local town is small but nice and friendly, we only ate in 1 of the restaurants as the others seemed to be closed each time we looked. |It's about 30 mins from the nearest beach in Torre Del Mar, where there are loads of cafes and restaurants if you want some additional options.|Would stay again and recommend to anyone staying...

We stayed there three nights. The rooms were quiet and clean. Job and Gess asked every evening at what time we would like to eat the breakfast, anything special. Although we didn't want anything special they made every morning different tasty breakfast.
The traffic noise is no problem. The streets nearby are narrow, not for cars.
The parking is free and easy about 1-4 minutes walk to Encanto Guesthouse.
WiFi was really good.
