Hotel Valle del Oja — Hotel in Casalarreina

Came across this little gem after hours of trying to find an available place for my dates since I was booking late. The 2 most important items for my search was free parking and WIFI.|Had difficulty finding the place as the address matches another place but it is really on the same street but further down. The house is a little isolated.|We speak no Spanish and the owners no English but we somehow were able to communicate. One person met us upon arrival but did not stay at the hotel. Saw no staff again until the next morning at breakfast. The lady at breakfast extremely friendly and helpful, even gave us guides in English for places to visit in the area.|You definitely need a car for this visit if you want to get around the La Rioja area. The village of Cassalareinna is beautiful and small but the people very friendly. About 20 minutes walk from this property. Hardly any English speakers.|We had a room with a balcony which was very clean and comfortable. There are enough electrical sockets. No coffee & tea facility in the room and no AC, however AC was not necessary in my opinion as weather quite cool.|Breakfast in the morning was perfect for us. They offer fresh squeezed orange juice, freshly baked bread and great coffee among other things. |Would definitely recommend for couples or even families who are looking for a lovely quiet and clean place with...

On our return trip to Portugal, we had an overnight stay at the “Hotel Vale de Oja” which is in Haro Spain.||This is a B&B, where we were very kindly received by the owner in person, we got a room on the ground floor.||The room was sober, but very neat, a private bathroom with a nice view from both the bathroom and the room itself.||Everything else in order, we had a very quiet night in a good bed, followed by a nice breakfast, better than we are used to according to Spanish standards.||For us this was a point landing, we really enjoyed the peace and quietness, a private parking, what more could you want for an overnight stay!||In any case, if we are still passing through, this hotel is first on our list to become our stay...
