Hostal El Ventorro — Hotel in Castrillo de la Vega

We drove by actually heading to another Bodega for lunch, we saw the big sign that said homemade fresh local delicacy. We decided to stopped and try their food. Incredibly we met Sebastian our server from Colombia,, we had the best white Linaje Garsea which won the silver medal of Terravino accompanied with my sopa of fideo with pork. My main course was quail with lemon. Best of all, the arroz con leche as desert. He later brought us a red, full bodied Garsea, love it so much that we bought the whole bottle! This is more than a 5 star food...

I stayed here for 2 days with 2 of my british friends. On top of there being no wifi in the room, I have never experienced racism in a hostel before I stayed here, the staff refused to serve us on multiple occasions and addressed us very rudely for the entire stay. Whenever there was a problem with the food they would tell us to deal with it and they would struggle to give us eye contact. I have travelled and lived in spain for 3 years and have never experienced service like this. I strongly don't recommend...

No entiendo las reseñas de 5. Nada recomendable. Fueron varios detalles que nos harán no repetir: El primero, te preguntan bebidas sin saber si vas a comer el menú, al pedir vino, nos pusieron botella y una casera (que no abrimos y pusimos al borde de la mesa). El menú 29€ con platos que no nos dieron más, por lo que decidimos pedir de carta. Un entrante para picar: croquetas, sin más, con el centro frío. Unos pimientos de carne sin carne, estoy segura que el relleno era bechamel con salsa de otros preparados de carne, no había ni un ápice de carne picada o desmechada. Rabo de toro muuuy pasable para 22€. Escuchamos otros platos que no aparecían en nuestra carta, preguntamos y resulta que por estar alojado tienes otras opciones. La carta de los postres sin precio. MAL La cuenta: una nota con los precios sin IVA, por supuesto la casera incluida y la botellita de vino que quisieron también enterita. Si no decimos que no tomamos la casera casi 4€, el pan, 1,80€ por persona ... Vamos bastante por la zona y no repetiremos. Atención del...
