Marina and Leo are exceptional hosts. While Leo is preparing delicious dishes for the dinner,Marina is always available to give you very good advices to spend the day and should you need it she will happily booked the activities for you. The view from the patio or the balcony of your bedroom is amazing.You have the lake in front of you and you are surronded with the hills .Should you be lucky,as we were,to experience in the evening an electric storm and then the beauty of the scenery will make your stay very memorable. After a good night sleep in a very confortable bed and a cosy room,you will enjoy a very good and well balanced breakfast served by Marina and her eternal smile. Very nice structure, rural wooden house with natural stone finishes.

Bad reception. The owners, Andrew and Tina, a Catalan couple, made us feel extremely uncomfortable from the first moment.

Come, inopportune and stingy people. Tina, while I was cutting a piece of cake from the buffet, swooped down behind me, without even telling me "good morning" to surreptitiously tell me not to cut too much cake because it would have dried up.

I am thrilled. Shameful, miserable and rude.

Instead of worrying about how much food the diners consume from your poor buffet, worry about improving your painful welcome.

I would not even recommend this place to my worst enemy. You save yourself only for the wonderful location. For the rest, you would deserve to...

Casa Churchill is a hidden little treasure in tiny Claverol, a village where time stands still. A wonderful place to relax and close enough to many outdoor activites. We had a large room, that also had a little ante room with an armoire, single bed and settee. We also had a lovely little balcony for two with a beautiful view. The bathroom offered so much storage too, so you can really unpack and feel at home. But the most wonderful part are the hosts, Andrew and Tina. They are so kind, gracious and helpful.
