We booked 2 rooms in May half term. Be advised that if your holiday package entails you landing at Seville airport, it is hour and a half transfer minimum and will be cheaper to hire a car for the week than to pay for a transfer.||We arrived around midnight and had to park in the hotel's car park. This is 10 euros per day which is very reasonable but if you can get a space on the road, you can park for free which we managed all but two days. ||We were very tired after the long drive. The bar was shut. My husband had emailed ahead to see if we could have a sea view and we were told of the cost. On arrival we were told we were getting 2 sea view rooms and this was to be a COMPLIMENTARY upgrade. HOWEVER, on check out we were presented with an invoice of around £212 |( I cannot remember exact euro exchange). This was a shock and extremely disappointing.||We also had to buy bottles of water to take to the room. I have never been to a hotel in a hot country especially 4 star where water has not been complimentary.||This claims to be a 4 star hotel. It is trying hard but I would consider it a good 3 star. It just needs some little tweaks. I will start with the negatives and the tweaks.||* water is not complimentary in the rooms||the breakfast buffet is average. Not once would i say the hot section was hot. (the hot included chorizo sausage, little sausages, scrambled and fried eggs, plastic bacon, frittata and really nasty baked beans and grilled tomatoes) To be fair the chorizo chunks and tomatoes were warm and tasty. There is a selection of fruit which was nice. The pastries were small but welcome and churros were available as well as bread for toast. Just make sure the food is HOT. A greater choice of juice flavours would be welcome|| we tried the evening buffet on our first full day. Again, not very warm. My son had a chicken wing which was completely pink inside. I did not feel there was a great variety for a 4 star especially when it came to meats. We did not use it again.| |* no complimentary toiletries||* no tea making facilities in the room.||* English was not widely spoken and i had to succumb to google translate. On Friday and Saturday the animacion team suddenly did activities poolside but it was ONLY in Spanish. The quiz one night was ONLY in Spanish. This is a hotel which is advertised on British websites so I expected more English speakers. To be fair, my Spanish has improved because of it.||If you want cocktails, there is a not any choice. Mojito and pina colada and 2 others but nothing else.|| the ironing board (which has to requested was table top sized so was difficult to iron on||But there are positives.|* the pool area is very clean and it was a lovely place to sit. Very cold water though but you warm up quickly once your shoulders are under. There were always sun beds available||* great pizzas (even though frozen) from the lobby bar and only 15 euros. Hot dogs and toasted sandwiches also available as snacks.||* grounds are very green and well maintained.||* access to the beach which was clean and inviting||the hotel has the most spectacular sunsets. Stunning!|| in the restaurant if you have a dairy allergy, soya, oat and almond milk are available||* the bar staff are extremely hard working. In fact all of the staff worked hard.||* Tere the bar maid was a lovely lady and always had a smile on her face..||* rooms are cleaned daily and standards were high||It is a remote hotel in a quiet residential area so you cannot walk to any shops. Conil de la Frontera is about 15 minutes away in a taxi (17-20 euros). It is well worth a visit or two. Lots of lovely, quirky shops and plenty of places to eat at affordable prices. |Why not go to the bus station there and hop on the bus to Cadiz? We also drove to Gibraltar. around 90 minutes away.||Overall, we had a lovely week. It just needs a few improvements to get it there and i would go again if given the choice. Just be careful about asking...

The place is absolutely beautiful! The sunsets are stunning, the beaches are gorgeous and the people are friendly. This hotel is very nice. Just being in this place is a great pleasure. The rooms are fine and the staff is very friendly. But then the food…
Your best bet would be to have no meals in the hotel. I really don’t think the food in the hotel is worth spending money on. The coffee is mediocre the scrambled eggs are well, just scrambled and the bacon I was offered to go with it was completely dried out from being under those warm lamps for a long time.
Had it not been for the food, the high price (probably the most expensive weekend of the year) had been justifiable.
Do yourself a favour, have some great coffee and sandwiches on the little centre a 15 min walk from the hotel. The pizzeria and Spanish restaurant have great food for lunch and dinner.
And oh, if you’re not up for a fiesta de niños, you might want to avoid the pool area late afternoon. We had very loud music at around 17:00/17:30 for over an hour. Eardrum...
