Venta del Alto - Hotel las Cumbres by Vivere Stays. — Hotel in El Garrobo

We stayed in this hotel for one night on our way from the South of Spain to Lisbon after six hours drive. The hotel had not received our booking through a third party and they were not ready to receive us. ||||They promptly accommodated us in our bedrooms, we were told we would figure out the issue with the third party the following morning once we were rested. They had contacted the third party reservation site and they were ready to check us out by the time we woke up in the morning. ||||After getting settled in our rooms we went down to the restaurant for dinner. We were sit in two tables with a coal brasserie. I needed a shower when I went back because of the smell but I really enjoyed the experience. The food was excellent. My boyfriend had partridges and he said they were delicious.||||The hotel had a lot of charm, the bed was comfortable, however the furniture was quite rudimentary. My only complaint is that the heat in the room was off when we arrived, it was extremely cold and it took forever for the room to warm up. Staff very friendly (Spanish speaking only, however, we had a sweet young waitress named Eve or Eva who did a fantastic job speaking to us in English…Restaurant here was EXCELLENT at dinner with great food, wine, desserts, and great service…breakfast is simple and delicious, room was clean and included a balcony with sliding door with small table and two chairs with pretty view of rural area with sheep grazing, a small former bullring and gorgeous sunset!) We highly recommend and will return if ever traveling in this direction again!! A very pleasant stay with very pleasant staff and a great value...

Sitio anticuado, viejo, obsoleto, ruinoso, tanto por el exterior como para tu cartera, un robo a mano armada en toda regla, un edificio a punto de derribo al igual que la comida que hay en él, el jamón, si es que se le puede llamar así, es tóxico para la salud, no voy a adjuntar foto porque es un insulto a la industria cárnica, pero podéis haceros una idea, de hecho, me sorprendió que junto a la tostada no viniera una advertencia de peligro, jamás vi en ningún otro lugar un desayuno tan nocivo perjudicial, peligroso, venenoso, malo, inicuo, ingrato, tan ingrato como las ganas de atender al público que tienen las dependientas, un poco más y tienes que entrar tú mismo a la cocina a tostar el pan y cortar el tomate, el jamón no pero porque lo habrán sacado de los restos del contenedor de la basura que tendrán cerca porque es imposible pensar que puedan vender tal aberración las empresas, supermercados y distribuidores, toda una curiosidad averiguar de donde sacan "eso", eso sí van bastante a juego, el restaurante se complementa muy bien, pues el jamón es tan desagradable como las que están allí, supuestamente atendiendo a los clientes aunque la realidad demuestre lo contrario, no vengáis, hay miles de sitios mejores que se comen a este, bueno, no en sentido literal, porque sino acabarían con el estómago muy fastidiado,es indigno, deleznable y caro a...
