The Blue Door Mallorca is a true hidden gem. We found exactly what we were looking for our stay in Mallorca: A place to slow down and spend some quality time off the beaten tourist tracks and in tune with nature. The new owners have renovated and decorated this old farm with great attention for detail, offering all amenities of modern life within historic walls. The interior definitely made our design lover hearts beat faster. ||Jean made us feel welcome from the first minute. We arrived later than expected, past 10:00pm, at the farm and he even shared what was left in his private pantry with us so we wouldn’t have to go to bed without dinner. Breakfast was delivered to our apartment every morning. It included fresh bread, cheese, ham, eggs to vegetables, fruit, cereals, yoghurt, almonds, and more, with the Blue Door aiming to source all ingredients fresh from local farmers (or at least from the Spanish mainland). So if you are into organic, sustainably produced food, the Blue Door ticks all boxes.||The large outside area was just as inviting as the apartments: We loved being able to see, hear and pet the goats, to chill by the pool (which we had to ourselves during the stay) and to play a round of petanca (boccia) – surrounded by Mallorca’s beautiful landscape. Worth noting that the Blue Door also serves as a great starting point to explore the nearby beaches and Mallorca’s scenic coastline (which we did by boat).||All in all, we can’t recommend this place enough for people who are into slow travelling, nature and want to discover the real Mallorca, far away from overcrowded tourist spots and noisy hotel with hundreds of guests. Thank you, Jean, for all your hospitality and for always being up for a chat. We can’t...

Blue Door Mallorca was everything I was looking for on my honeymoon. It is the perfect retreat to unwind, be in touch with nature (there are a few cute goats), rest, yet just a 5 minutes drive to the town of Santanyí and 10-15 minutes drive to all the popular beaches such as Calo Del Moro, Cala Llombards, S’Almunia and many more.

The apartment was spotless and well thought of. I love that there are 2 blankets, as my husband has a high tendency of snatching my side of the blanket in the middle of the night 😅 It had all the amenities you will need, and I love that the swimming pool has no chemicals, just salt!

Breakfast was delivered to us in a cute basket every morning at our preferred time. It had all my favourites - bread, eggs, cheese, ham, yogurt, milk, orange juice, granola, fruits and many more. It was so fresh! I’m usually very constipated when I’m overseas but breakfast at Blue Door Mallorca makes me go every morning!

Last but definitely not least, the service was impeccable. Roberta and Jean are the best hosts — they welcomed us warmly, checked in regularly, attended to our every need, and even sent us off personally at check-out, making the whole experience feel extra special. We even had special champagne glasses for the special wine they gave us upon learning that it was our honeymoon. It was the best accommodation we have stayed throughout our ~2 weeks in Spain. Thank you so much...

The perfect finca which ticked all the boxes for us. It was only a short drive away from the popular places like Cala Llombards, Moro and S’Almonia while still also being off the beaten path and nestled away in the countryside. Everything was so tastefully designed and planned out with no detail spared. The inside was modern and super clean. Breakfast was provided every day at your time of choosing in baskets for you to enjoy in front of your room. I’m not normally a breakfast person but I loved the breakfast here especially the greek yoghurt! And Roberta and Jean were such lovely hosts. Was always a pleasure speaking with them and hearing their stories on their inspiration for the place. Thank you for your hospitality during our 4 night stay!
