La Cueva de Ángel — Hotel in Firgas

Staying at Ángel was a wonderful experience that way exceeded our expectations.

Ángel is the most friendly & kind host ever, accompanied by Johnny, the sweetest dog on earth. They were very helpful, and the relaxed vibe they send, helps you unwind even more.

The views of Barranco de Guadalupe are incredible, and having a lushious breakfast every morning in these astonishing surroundings were the best. The colour green gets a new meaning in these mountains.

The appartment itself is small, but has everything we needed. The bed is good, and the shower with plants overlooking the valley is brilliant.

Waking up in the middle of nature, starting a incredible hike right at the doorstep and then finishing the day of in the sauna & jaccuzi was marvelous.

Angel is a very friendly and helpful host. The cave house is located in beautiful, peaceful surroundings. Perfect for complete rest and relaxation. Ideal for beautiful nature walks. Staying in the cave house is a unique experience in itself, very pleasant. Beautiful view from the terrace. Every morning there was a very extensive breakfast, with lots of fresh fruit, toast, rolls, cheese, ham, jam, butter, yogurt, and coffee. Truly excellent! And all this on the terrace with a beautiful view of the valley. We also enjoyed a gourmet dinner in the evening prepared by Angel. Angel ate with us and was very pleasant company. Such a lovely, peaceful place. Highly recommend!

We enjoyed two nights in this cave apartment overlooking the ravine. The first day, we read books and enjoyed the sunlight. The next day, we took a 4-hour hike that starts from the driveway of the property, then took advantage of the sauna and hot tub afterwards.

The cave apartment is next door to Angel and his cute and well-behaved dog, Johnny Be Good. Angel’s breakfast is healthy and filling, and he is very accommodating if you need anything.
