At first, I thought we'd made the worst mistake in selecting this hotel. But, the proprietors turned out to be very nice and the room was clean and nice. The beds were a bit outdated, so not the most comfortable. But, we have few complaints. The hotel is outside the city, so great for travelers who, like us, want to be close to the highway. (Note, we drove into Salamanca for an evening of sightseeing and dinner and, by car, the city was pretty easily accessible.) This hotel is not recommended for travelers without a car. Note: we left very early in the morning to catch a flight and set off the alarms trying to leave the hotel. The rooms were just fine, especially for a night. In the same circumstances, we'd stay there again. Lady behind the bar were doing it so long that i even could go piss and come back and cappuccino still wasn't ready. When she finished i realised why it took so long. It was piece of art and as she said, if you want just coffee with milk then you can get it from any machine, but here you can get real cappuccino. Waiting for service have never been so interesting, especially when another lady who were cleaning the floor seemed to feel like at home, singing in spanish, happy, enjoying this exact moment. Nice terrace with outside entertainment either music or the football on a large screen. Good food at reasonable prices. ||||One concern was on rising early we were surprised to find there was no exit from the hotel, all doors were locked with no sign of any staff on the premises.
