Summary: Good starting point for going climbing in Gandia/Bovedon, clean and cheap.
We only spent one night at this campground as the Gandia climbing sectors were shut down at that time. The campground offers all basic amenities and also has a restaurant and a small "supermarket" where you can get some basic stuff you might need in every day life (when we were there it was closed - maybe because it was off-season).
In general the campground was in a very good condition. I liked that the road on the campground was in a good condition - you did not need to be afraid to hit a pothole or get stuck in mud after heavy rain. Everything looked pretty new and clean. In the sector of the campground where we were staying you could see that they were building some new structures etc. They had bathrooms equipped with a toilet and a shower in one cabin. This is generally not a bad idea - the biggest downside of it is that the toilet cabin can be wet if someone else showered before.
What I liked about the campground is that you could select the size of your pitch. They have three categories and you pay less for a smaller pitch. As we did not need a very large pitch we chose the smallest one which was good enough for our long Opel Vivaro plus table and two chairs. Getting with the car into the pitches might be a bit more challenging if everything is fully packed but maybe I am just misjudging it as I am bad at parking the car :-D
The campground was the cheapest one of the campgrounds we stayed on close to climbing/bouldering areas. We paid 16 Euros per night including electricity (on the smallest pitch size). As a comparison: In Siurana we paid 25 Euro per night including electricity - which is quite a big difference.
Together with the campground in Albarracin this was the best campground close to a bouldering/climbing crag we stayed on. We faced the same problem of having issues with English at the reception there, but apart from that...

What an absolute gem this place is….we requested a larger pitch in the shade and it didn’t disappoint - 10mx10m underneath beautiful tall trees…..the pool was perfect for us, a sloped shallow area for my toddler and the deep water be isnt tooooo deep (I can’t swim and felt comfy in there as it came up to my shoulders when standing at 5”7. The toilets and showers are immaculate. The walk up to the pitch as play area dotted along the side - climbing/swings/slide…..laundry area with somewhere to hang your clothes €4.50. We booked here for 3 nights to rest from driving through France and Portugal but we are still here 5 nights later and don’t want to leave 😂 we are all having the best time here!!
Having said all of this I’d like to point out a few things; the pool gets really busy, I mean REALLY busy with locals and holidayers - this didn’t bother us but want to make people aware that this won’t be a relaxing or quiet place to swim 😅
Although they try their best, English isn’t understood well at all and we really struggled to order food when we ate at the (expensive) on site restaurant - we have to take responsibility too as we don’t speak Spanish haha but bare it in mind because it can be quite frustrating at times……
There’s nothing in walking distance so unless you’re prepared to pack the moho up every time then stock up as much as you can from the outside world as once you’re here your are trapped 😂
The water sports is tv advertised is their next place of development so you can’t actually book that which was false advertising……they have an adventure playground thing which is €10 for half an hour or €15 for an hour.
None of this should put you off, we have had an absolutely brilliant time!

Nice size pitch with great shade from the trees. Lots for the children to do. Great pool area. The shower facilities were OK. Not the best we've had in Spain but better than the UK. Real showers that you don't have to press on every few seconds. The park has flood lights that get turned on after sunset then turned off around midnight so you don't have to use torches. This is good as it keeps mosquitos and bugs away from your pitch. They are very particular about rubbish and all the bins are right down the bottom of the park so it's a walk down hill but this is to prevent wasps from being around the camping areas.
Disliked: The gravel is a bit too gravely on the pitches with some big stones. We were worried it was going to break our tent and very uncomfortable underfoot. You'll definitely need a groundsheet here. Beware of wasps at breakfast time, they were on the hunt for food. We didn't get stung but it was almost impossible to relax and eat breakfast with so many of them around. However, the park are doing all they can to...
