This is an amazing place to stay with three fincas and a garden. What's unique is that there is essentially only these three fincas in the entire "barranco" (valley) and only an unpaved road, which is more or less exclusively used by people from the three houses. In other words: You are completely on their own and in nature here, with an amazing view overseeing the Atlantic. Kalay, the host is an extremely friendly, competent and supportive person, who provided us with everything we needed and asked for. We can only full recommend this place as an accommodation to make hiking trips or just relax in the nicely decorated houses, on the terrace or in the garden (with a massage place). One thing to note is that in Hermigua and on this side of the island, it's greener and less sunny in the winter than in...

Remote, positive, inspiring idylle, ideal for recharging. Large house with two bedrooms, kitchen, large terrace surrounded by palm trees, butterflies, geckos, passion fruit, mountain walks. Kalay displays her talent for decoration where each stone, plate, plant, glass, chair is balanced in color and shape. Amazing! It is 20 minutes from Hermigua on a partly dirt road, scary at first but easier afterwards. Hermigua has lots of good restaurants and supermarket, the beaches are nice but wild in waves and currents. Not overly luxurious, large and well equipped house with hot water, (slow as it should be) wifi and two bedrooms. Host Kalay and her family are very welcoming and help with any request to accommodate the guests....

I lived in the idyllic Casa Aura which is one of the houses of Finca Montoro. The Finca Montoro is located away from the city in the Hermiguan hills. It is extremely peaceful here which makes it the perfect location for self-reflection and meditation. There are multiple palm trees here in this finca and one has a wonderful view of the Atlantic sea. The sky was so clear that it gave me an opportunity to capture the star trails. The hosts are really nice and cook great food. I was very satisfied to have chosen to stay at this place 10 day long. There are multiple hiking trails around.
