De Sol a Sol — Hotel in Hornillos del Camino

There are a variety of room sizes in this hostel including a room with bunk beds for multiple people. My room had twin beds and a nice bathroom with large tub/shower. They is a large outside area to relax and in summer an above ground pool. This hostel is like a home and the owner, Samuel, treats guests as family and takes pride in his home. The owner of this albergue stay at front and asked me if i would like to stay here when i pass by. The offer in terms of: "Room with only two bunk beds and bathroom and pool in the garden" sounds good and i was not disappointed. Nice rooms and living room with couchs and garden with pool. Definitely place for recommendation to stay when walking Camino. Regarding the food - this albergue offers also a breakfast, but i do not have it, so i cannot comment this. A great place to stay in the middle of Hornillos del Camino. The hosts were really nice and the rooms were extremely pleasant. |Negatives - We 'ate' in a building at the far end of the vilage and I dont think I have ever seen worse food. I had chicken and it looked as if it had been reheated a few times.|Second negative - A friend got his wallet stolen in a bar called Casa Manalo.
