Ok, so this is one of the only options for hotels in Igualada, but that is no excuse for...|Uncomfortable and really small beds for a six footer, they also move and are pretty noisy.. |Way too hot in the rooms, and very stuffy. Terrible sleep quality because you can not turn down the heating, and can only open the window so that mosquitos come in.. |Poor wifi and you have to keep logging in all the time, barely usable..|The room service person would only tidy away things that were in the bin..|Also the bath didn't have a plug that worked, and the shower curtain annoyingly would stick to you while you were showering, bathroom in total need of refurb, with stupid lights that I kept hitting my head on.|Breakfast was just about OK, though I thought most of the ingredients were poor quality, it was priced quite cheap around €4, so really it should be included in the room rate. |One good thing is that you can get your laundry done for €25 for a load, if it all fits in the machine, handy if you are travelling.. |All in I found the place depressing with nothing around except for a Burger King, which looked like it was part of the hotel, and there are a couple of supermarkets across the road.|However, the staff make up for the hotel with good service and food in the Bar America which was decent with friendly service, so if the rest of the place was as good as this it...
Read moreAwful experience. When you go down for breakfast, you’ll find you can only choose one of the readymade sandwiches in the bar. If you ask them to make a different sandwich, they’ll refuse. They will give you a sandwich with rubbery bread and, if you ask them to please toast the bread because it's rubbery, they will also refuse. Having paid 100 € for a room without a fridge and with a faulty window, they will tell you that the prices are already very tight and that they can’t afford toasting the bread for you (!!!). Afterwards, you will write three emails asking for the manager's email in order to send a private complaint, and they won't even respond. Even paying 56 euros per night, I had never had such poor insulting service! We will never stay...
Read morePretty certain I contracted scabies from this hotel. I’m home in Dallas, TX and I have began treatment. I felt something biting me prior to falling asleep, but we traveled all day so I was too exhausted to worry. The room was extremely dated. The springs in the mattresses popped and creaked when I moved. I could hear business travelers wake very early in the morning to begin their day, so I slept horribly. It was so loud! I could hear someone in another room snoring. The only good thing was the nice man in the lobby that kindly fed us late in the night with a smile. He was very hospitable. Do not stay here. Our room was on 3rd floor, 303 maybe was the room number. Too tired...
