stayed for 2 nights (motorhome) in August, 2 adults 2 children. We hadn't booked but due to change in circumstance we found ourselves looking for a site for 2 nights and this was near to where we were, so we turned up and there was space. ||||Site is quite steep although a considerable amount of groundwork has made the pitches flat, we didn't need to use block and were totally level. not a huge pitch but for a short stay it was fine. ||||Site facilities - All at the top of the hill so certainly not suitable if you struggle with slopes||no hot water at sinks so husband had to skip shaving.||mediocre hot water at washing up sinks||showers had plenty of hot water and were temperature adjustable per shower, with on/off rather than being push button & repeat every 30 seconds. Showers weren't greatly clean, but not really bad, water leaking out from the showers into the centre, which you had to walk through to access sinks. Saw the cleaners in each morning but in high season could prob do with a second clean later in day too if I'm honest as they were always busy.||||The site was very busy, due to high season and very noisy in an evening, but I'm led to believe this is quite normal on Spanish sites, the music didn't bother us and once it finished around midnight it was very peaceful.||||NO pool on site but a short walk to the beach and a promenade area which was lovely to walk around, only a small area tho so wouldn't lie to think I was here for any more than...
Read moreA very enjoyable budget-friendly campsite! We were genuinely happy with our stay here. The campsite offers many shaded spots, which was a big plus during the warm days. The pitches themselves are spacious, and the location is ideal, within short walking distance to a small shop, the beach, and several cozy bars. The campsite only reopened two years ago after a long closure, and while there is still some visible wear and tear, you can clearly see the effort being made to rebuild and improve everything (albeit at a relaxed Spanish pace). The sanitary facilities could use an upgrade, but they are kept very clean and are cleaned multiple times a day, which we really appreciated. If you're looking for absolute peace and quiet, this might not be your ideal place. There are quite a few youth camps hosted here, so there’s activity until fairly late in the evening, and you’ll find groups of youngsters hanging around. That said, for us personally, it wasn’t a bother at all—it even gave the place a lively atmosphere. The small bar at the entrance offers great service at very reasonable prices, which made it a pleasant place to hang out. Overall, we had a fantastic camping experience and are already looking forward to...
Read moreWe came without reservation, checked the internet for prices on the way there. Campings on the Costa Brava are expensive. We booked for one night, because maybe we wanted a better camping in that area. We ended up staying 7 nights. The capsite is 300 meters from the beach and boulevard, and inbetween there is a supermarket with fresh bread. A shop that sells everything is opposit of the supermarket and several restaurants close by.||The camping is really not expensive, and has a lot of shadow places. In the back of the campsite are big camps for youth. A German organisation that organises youth vacations. Yes they walk in groups, yes they can be loud, but not as loud as any other camping on the Costa Brava. The crickets are louder. The bar and terras, with sometimes live music was cosy. Food was ok, not spectacular, ( except for the burger, i loved it) but the beer is cheap. We spend several nights there. ||Sanitation is clean, not new, and other people use it.. if you dont want that, stay home.||There is no pool with 18 slides, this could be the reason it was not packed, I can not think of...
